A delightful bistro located across the street from my apartment. Tucked away in a corner of a large office complex, Verando may appear small, nevertheless it offers a rather large assortment of, made to order breakfast and lunch items. Everything from an assortment of freshly prepared sandwiches, soup, and salads to tempting baked goods and custom made hot and cold beverages, makes Verando Bistro a must stop if you’re seeking a place for a quick bite of deliciousness.
I always get the Croissant Delight sandwich, $7.99, but on white bread. It's turkey breast, crisp bacon, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado slices, and mayo. It's DELICIOUS and I'm picky! They automatically toast the white bread and this adds to the flavor. I've tried one or two other items, but I wasn't a fan. Others in the office purchase items daily and are fans of most everything. The food was delicious and prices are very reasonable. I had breakfast burrito, bagel, and breakfast sandwich- all were really good and portions were perfect, if a little big (perfect to save for later!). The cappuccino and coffees were exactly what I needed. The staff were all really kind.
