First they put me on a list skipped 2 people to 2 people after me. Food was over cooked, over cooked my eggs twice. I just gave up🥲. Will not be coming back to this location it’s just not it🫠.

Upcharged by 2.50 (not for a substitution of a premium meat like ham... but for requesting half sausage half bacon for my meal, instead of full sausage or full bacon. This has never been an issue before, and the pricing list I was shown (dated 9/2025) indicated 2.50 for substitution of ham instead of the regular sausage/bacon meat on the all-star meal. Additionally poor customer service at this location with patrons told to wait at their tables instead of going up to pay causing delay in checkout, and checks not even made for patrons who'd half left the building. Seats were sticky and covered in substance and way different compared to vists past... including less kid friendly and it wasn't even busy. One nice thing when entering was a warning issued about sitting at the far end of the counter because of dishes being done at the other endn but, usually servers/cooks are nice and talk with kids. The waffles were smaller than they've ever been and numerous waffles were made and thrown out from being stuck burning without use of spray for the griddlesn and entire meals being made and then thrown out when the cook realized orders made by a server weren't actually needed for customers. Waffle issues did cause a delay in service in that it was forgotten entirely by the server to be brought after ordering...and had to be requested again after the rest of the meal was finished... but other patrons were served first despite ordering after and togo orders with multiple waffles after ward were served first as well. All of these made the experience much less enjoyable than usually had over the yearsn and usually this location I hear has the best reviews...
Definitely worth the drive we drove from San Diego California down to this Waffle House and the food was nice. The waitress was very welcoming and sweet and the environment was good. They were not busy at all. We came in around 4 PM on a Saturday.
