Idaho boy trying Waffle House for the first time. I was really excited to try this and had to try a couple different locations to get in as they were super busy. I had no expectations going in, and for the most part it was ok. I gave 5 stars because the service was extraordinary. However the atmosphere was not great as the unexpected rain storm had leaks throughout the restaurant. The food was diner food. Nothing special. I was also hoping for the waffles to be .....more? Like...
All time authentic US favorite breakfast spot. Never disappoints me. I tried the chocolate chip waffle and the breakfast meal without meat. Try asking for extra whipped cream and don't forget to mix with maple syrup.
We were served by Bree, she was lovely, in fact all staff were and we all enjoyed our meals!
Dietary restrictions: Have an egg allergy and they were very accommodating to that.
