This place is great! The food, drinks and coffee were amazing, the service was exceptional, the location is off the beaten path, and they have a Red Ryder BB gun. LOL! This diner is located in a remodeled home in the historic Garfield neighbourhood of Phoenix. They specialise in local and fresh foods, but mainly good ol' US comfort food. My friend was visiting from Sydney, so took her here and we both loved it. I had the Big Jim, basically fried chicken, bacon, cheese on a biscuit. It was just delicious, and I loved the way they melted the cheddar into one half of the biscuit. The biscuit was fresh and not too crumbly; the chicken as good...
We ate here for the first time today. It's been on my list for a while now. Very delicious! Great atmosphere. Every one of the staff members here are kind and welcoming. They live up to their name for sure. Definitely recommend!
