Beware the Wendy’s on 27th Ave. my husband and I stopped in for lunch today but we couldn’t even bring ourselves to eat there. I don’t have unrealistic cleanliness expectations by any means when it comes to fast food places, I get it, you get busy. This was so far beyond that. The cashier was wiping drool on her wrist while interacting with us. She had to step away for a moment to ask if they were able to make the food my husband ordered. Thank god she did, it gave us more time to look around. I saw food all over the floor in the kitchen, wet paper towels on the kitchen floor, food on the lobby floor, and many sticky looking substances on the front counter. The line cook was also yelling at the person in drive through, clearly stressed out. I told my husband I could not eat here and he was so glad I said something because he didn’t want to eat there either. If I was the owner of this place I would take a good hard look around and invest in new cleaning protocols. I will never return to this location again.

I got a chicken sandwich and they didn't put the patty on the sandwich. Just cheese and lettuce. The people here must all be on so many drugs.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!Driving into the drive through, no one was in line. I was told to wait... No big deal. I then sat there for over 10 minutes waiting, while cars started lining up around the building behind me. I drove to the window to ask what was going on and was meet by a girl that just looked away when I told her I've been waiting there for 10 minutes. Not a single care was given. I have NEVER dealt with this level of incompetence. Manager On Staff didn't seem to care either when I called after leaving! Normally I just let things slide but this time I will be contacting corporate as well. No customers in line or in the store and making 5 ppl wait in the drive through... with NO RESPONSE! Unacceptable!!

I went inside the store to order, only one person was in front of me who got his order in. The food service worker left and I waited way to long for this lady to come back to take my order which never happened. I left and I am not going back.

Ms. Manda was the front cashier when I came in and was extremely rude to not only me, but every other customer that was in around the time I was. Walked away from the counter for 5 minutes without allowing me to pay, then snapped at me to put my card in the machine despite the fact that she never activated the option to pay with card. You can’t treat people however you feel like when you work in food service coming from someone who does the same thing.

So I show up at 11:30 pm after a really long tough day. Online and on the door, it says they are open until 12 am. There are 2 chairs blocking the drive thru, and the front door is locked. So I called. Lady answers and tells me they are still open. But she is the only one here, and she needs to do her inventory before she can help me. Asks me to wait in the parking lot until she finishes. What? Come on man. If you need to close, do so and turn off the lights. Now, of course, I am really low on gas. Otherwise, I'd just go to another one. So I wait in the parking lot knowing if she decides at 11:55 that she just can't help me after all, I'm screwed. Fingers crossed. Dave, I think we might need some help at this store, just saying.Outcome:Well she has me wait for a half an hour in the parking lot and just closes on me. I called back but she wouldn't answer this time. I just wanted a Baconator so bad. She could have just told me they were closed when I called the first time. It would have sucked but life happens. Instead, she wasted my time and showed me that I don't matter as a customer. Kind of mean.
