Always a hit or miss, the service is terrible. You constantly have to wave someone down. I ordered a drink and they forgot to bring it out. If you are in no rush and plan on being here for 1+ hours, go for it. I had to leave and go someone else.

Ordered through insta cart and we were cheated. We ordered 2 jollof and instead got 1 and jasmine. We also didn’t know there was mushroom in the ‘I love spinach’, which we are allergic to. Aside from that, the beef patties we ordered weren’t fresh at all and gray inside and very cold. The flavors were there but so is the disappointment

I will say this … EVERYTHING is PERFECT! I literally crave this daily! I would have pictures if I didn’t eat the food so fast, lol , so that speaks for itself and their hibiscus drink is amazing! Of course I’ll always return to order. ☺️

We came here for dinner. Great music, comfortable atmosphere. Service was very friendly. Our first waitress was ending her shift while we were there; she made sure to stop by our table to let us know someone else was taking over. We ordered the beef patty as a starter. Great flavor! Then I ordered the west hut with chicken. It was served with sweet plantain, salad, and I added the jollof rice. Chicken was a little over but had great flavor. The jollof rice was delicious! It was a little spicy and was of great texture. The rest of the sides matched well with the dish. My boyfriend ordered the spicy goat soup. He was warned of how spicy it was and she was not exaggerating. Luckily he likes spicy dishes and he said the flavor was rich. He did wish there were more goat pieces in the soup but says the little pieces that he got had good texture. He ordered it with a side of fufu but wished he had the rice after trying mine. We are not sure what fufu is supposed to taste like but there wasn't much flavor to it. I also ordered the Sobolo drink; it was sweet which I enjoyed. My only issue was the price, it was expensive. Next time we come, we will likely order one dish to share. Overall it was a great place for dinner and we would definitely come back.

Meal was mediocre at best, it seemed bland and not fresh as advertised. The atmosphere alone made me want to walk out, the staff all seemed unprofessional and angry at customers. Worst part is I usually tip my servers, but everyone’s attitudes were just not it.
We had a great experience at this West Hut restaurant! I ordered the “I Love Spinach” soup — it was flavorful, rich, and absolutely delicious. The only downside was the shrimp, which came out a bit dry and cold. My husband had the peanut soup with goat, and it was divine — tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of depth. Overall, the food was satisfying and packed with authentic flavor. We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!
The plantains, jollof rice, “I Love Spinach” and sobolo drink did not disappoint! I also really liked the okra dish but you have to be ok with its slimy texture (which I am-just a warning to those who don’t love that). So many wonderful and complex flavors! The service at atmosphere was also exceptional! What a gem!
