The fufu was not good at all tasted like a balled up mashed potato and not actually fufu. The spinach could have had more spice and less that tomato stuff on top. It was good and I’ll definitely eat from here again I just want to go inside rather door dash because I know the experience will be better. It’s worth the money. It’s just the fufu and it’s not hitting tasted like instant potatoes and the size was small for the amount of spinach I got and I would pay for if I knew it was that small

I visited West Hut and was disappointed with my experience. The food was bland, not fresh, beef was dry, not hot, service was not the best. The server forgot my order and came over 15 mins later to take the order again. I felt that the prices did not reflect the quality of the food and service. I hope they can improve in these areas.

We’ve been coming to this restaurant for a while, but today’s experience was by far the worst. The service has been hit or miss in the past, but today was unacceptable. Our server, Vickey, didn’t offer us water until after our food had already arrived, and we never received any refills. She never once checked on us to see how our meal was or if we needed anything.
When we requested additional sides, they didn’t arrive until we were already finished eating, making them practically useless. On top of that, her attitude was unprofessional and dismissive, which made the experience even more disappointing.
Good service makes all the difference, and unfortunately, today’s visit was a letdown. We’ve enjoyed this place before, but experiences like this make it hard to want to return. Hopefully, management addresses these issues so that others don’t have to deal with the same poor service.

As a girl with Sierra Leonean parents, I’m picky when it comes to African food. West Hut was pretty good overall! However, the service was slow because they seem to be understaffed. I also ordered a beef patty and it never came out but they took it off my bill.
-kelewele was just okay. Used to tasting more ginger. -The jollof was the best…tastes like Sierra Leonean jollof! Even the kids tore it up! -Okra soup was good, wish they had a pepper sauce that was actually spicy to add to it though -The hisbiscus ginger drink was great!
First off we drove 40min my husband and I walked in and the waitress is sitting at the bar/register and as we walk in she yells across the restaurant “ Are yall dinning in or to go “ we tell them to go…. They did not have much of a selection so we just ordered 2 I love spinach with fufu…. As we waited for our food the cashier comes and say they only have 1 fufu so they giving us rice… at this point I’m irritated because they running a restaurant how you run out of the main side dish fufu BUT I see them bringing fufu out to the dine in customers…. Soooo I take it and assume they only have so much fufu for takeout…. When I get home n try the food I will leave another review

My first time here with a friend I wasn't impressed. I was hoping for better food. Our drinks came in cans with plastic throw away cups.my food tasted ok but in a few minutes my tummy started to turn & the next 2 days was spent going to the restroom.. never again for that place plus my friend had a salad & fufu I had some chicken & rice plate & 2 sodas came to $ 40 that was crazy

This place is a joke. I ordered the "I love spinach " with plantain fufu. My food was really cold my soup was full of oil so much that I couldn't even eat it. When I called in the manager even said it's oily but I was instructed to just drain it they won't give me my refund for it and told me there is nothing she could do about. I would never order from this place again!
Extremely disappointed the server was wonderful however my plantains were hard and cold they returned with the same ones saying they threw the other ones away that simply Wasn’t true I had left something in my plate to check if they brought me back the same ones and they did (thankfully they didn’t charge me for that). I ordered the red red and the plantains were again cold and the fufu was tough and dry not moist as if it were sitting uncovered in the air for a while. The first couple of times I came the food was delicious however this time was nothing like that. I don’t think I’ll be returning

I heard great things about this location. Went with my friend who has been to this location several times. I ordered the goat soup. The soup had all bones and a few pieces of meat. All broth. The food was cold, not hot. My friend told the waiter about our issues. When we paid the waiter said loud enough to where we could hear. “ This food isn't for everyone “ I find that disrespectful and unprofessional. I will not return or recommend.

Went to try this place for the first time and the service was so terrible I didn’t even get to try the food. After waiting an hour and not receiving the food or drink I ordered I just left. While waiting they never brought water for my table or at least the drink I ordered. I had to go up to the front multiple times to ask them to bring water and asked MULTIPLE times about my drink and food.
