Cool place to stop and hang out before or after a show or sporting event. I really enjoyed the chips and guacamole with a side of nacho cheese sauce. I had the green taco and it was amazing. Eliote’ bites rocked too. Definitely will be stopping in next trip downtown.

We were on a downtown wine walk today- this restaurant was on the list. The ran out of wine- or so the bartender said- 1.5 hours before the end of the wine walk. No worries! But the attitude from the bartender was gross. We said “darn that sucks- we were really looking forward to this place!” And the bartender says “I don’t care. I don’t get tips from 90% of the wine walk participants”. Just an oddly rude encounter from an angry bartender. Definitely wanted to try this place but not sure if I will come back if this is the norm….

Genuinely perfect tacos for me. The salsa verde was my favorite but the mango habanero was great as well. These were exactly what I wanted in great tacos! They weren’t around long enough for me to take a picture!

Solid food but beware weekend pricing which isn't posted on the website (at least nowhere I saw) will hit you where it hurts. We were traveling and had walked there so didn't have anywhere else to go. Paid $56 with modest tip for 4 small tacos, rice, beans, and two sodas. No major events had started or ended within 3 hours of when we went. Just buyer beware.

I walked to Willie’s from my hotel on Van Buren street. It’s just .6 miles away. It’s a 15 minute walk.

I ordered the chicken taco, shrimp taco, and the green Butcher taco with some chips, guacamole and salsa. I only ordered the green butcher because it was listed on the menu as a favorite and I can 100% agree with that opinion! It was my favorite by far! Super tasty! Big and filling! The chips, salsa, and guacamole are all freshly homemade and delicious! I was able to eat 2 out of the 3 tacos, and less than half of the chips and salsa. They all made great leftovers for the next day.

The restaurant was empty except for a lone guy who actually looked like Willy Nelson who appeared to be writing music.
The only thing I didn’t like about the restaurant was the street noise. It’s right off of the street and open aired. The restaurant has no control over it, but the loud mufflers in this city are SO annoying! The city really needs to do something about this issue! It’s awful.

Prices are reasonable. After tax and tip my bill was about $35 for one person, but like I said, it turned into two meals. Definitely would go back for happy hour and order the green butcher again.
