CLOSED!! This neighborhood dive is a gem! Could it appear more updated? Of course! Are they a little late on the time commitments? Yes! Add five minutes to your pick up time. We ordered six different entrees for a birthday celebration. Nothing was missing from the to go order and saucy dishes were double bagged to avoid leaks. Our guests loved the food. As far as children being part of the scenery, we all need to embrace children as part of the atmosphere of today's business environment. Surrender your judgement on a hard working woman trying to snap up money for her family's security or don't come here. I'd go so far as to say, train those sweet, smart children to be more involved. Let them become part of what we enjoy about Yi's. This is a local chinese restaurant that provides excellent carryout food at a speedy takeout pace.

This evening the family and I pulled up to Yi's Restaurant, hungry and ready for a delicious meal as always... It was not to be. The doors are locked and the lights are off. The place has been stripped bare and their phone line is disconnected. Before I start making dinner, I just want to thank this small family for feeding mine for so many years!! I hope you guys are enjoying some well earned rest and relaxation.

I think it's closed. Tried giving a call and the phone was disconnected. Drove up to the business and the lights are off and it looks empty. Sad. Seemed like the only decent place for some good fried rice.

I love this place for Chinese food, it’s my go to and I hope they never close. The negative reviews complain about children being there, the place looking run down, have nothing to do with the food. It’s a literal family cooking back there, a mom and dad. Where do you think they’re going to have their kids after school? Better with them at their restaurant than at home by themselves. The food is delicious and I’ll never stop ordering from here ???

Those of you who have lived in a REAL city and have had good takeout, you know what I'm talking about. No. It's not authentic, but we know that. Chinese takeout isn't meant to be.
The people complaining about the "atmosphere" and the "service" must be some small town folks. None of that stuff matters at a place like this. This place looks and feels like the spots in NYC. Tbh, making it any "nicer" would be a waste of time and money. Keep it as is.
Only the food matters here, and it is bomb. People need to get a clue. ?

Love the food here. Their general tso was the best I have ever had. Prices and portions are superb. We used to go here every month when we lived in North Phoenix. I will truly miss this place. Every time we travel through we stop to pick up food but it is usually only once a year now. I miss you Yi's!
