Best breakfast I have ever had. Service was excellent - there was a wait time but we got on the waitlist and ended up only waiting about 15 minutes. Perfect Sunday am stop.

I've been going here for 3 years. Everyone is always so nice and the food is always on point. I usually sit at the bar by myself and the bartenders always make amazing lattes! You can see the servers are treated well by their persona. I've gone to other breakfast places in the valley and there's only two I will stick to now. Here and Brunch in cave creek!

Fantastic food with a dog friendly patio. Eggs Benedict could use more hollandaise sauce from the kitchen. They do charge extra for more, that would be understandable if they added just a little more to the serving size.

While browsing Google for a brunch spot, I came across this place. I walked in and sat at the bar, where the waitress (I didn’t catch her name) made me a Bloody Mary. After my breakfast—country-fried biscuits and gravy Benedict, which was amazing, by the way—she made me an espresso martini that was equally incredible. I can’t wait to go back! The waitress was fantastic!

My fiancée and I have ordered from here previously and the food was good and fairly priced. That was MONTHS ago.
My mother-in-law wanted an omelet, the price of a single cheese omelet (with no sides) is $20 so she decided to pass on breakfast due to the price. My fiancee and I ordered the breakfast burritos and let me tell you, I could have made a bigger burrito, that tastes better, with more ham and potatoes at home with smaller sized tortilla. My entire burrito consisted of mostly egg with a SPRINKLE of small ham cubes and an OK amount of potato. I specified that I DID NOT want onion or peppers, yet that was the second most added ingredients next to the eggs. Little to no flavor, and to top it off, the price was $20 a piece for a burrito that is SLIGHTLY bigger than a McDonalds breakfast burrito. Filiberto's charges $15 per burrito which I still think is crazy but at least it's 4 times the size, packed with protein, and tastes WAY better. I am extremely disappointed in this place.
Needless to say, I will not be ordering food from here again...

As a four-time, 24-year decorated Army war veteran and a lifelong servant in faith and community, I hold deep appreciation for places that make you feel valued and welcomed. Sunshine Breakfast Bar is one such place—a true gem in the community near my place of employment. Every time I visit, I am met with exceptional service, delicious food, and an atmosphere that feels like home.
I want to take a moment to specifically commend Ava, a remarkable employee who goes above and beyond to make every guest feel special. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine care have made each of my visits memorable. Ava’s ability to create an environment where everyone feels appreciated is unparalleled, and her attention to detail is a testament to the high standards of this establishment.
As someone who has spent decades serving this nation, both as an Army veteran and in my roles as Southwest Regional Bishop with the Faith, Hope, and Love International Ministries and the Vice President of the West Valley NAACP, I can confidently say that Sunshine Breakfast Bar stands out as a beacon of hospitality and community spirit. It’s a place where you’re not just a customer; you’re family.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sunshine Breakfast Bar to all first responders and military veterans. The respect and care they show are unmatched, and Ava exemplifies the best of what this restaurant has to offer. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or looking for a place to gather with friends and family, Sunshine Breakfast Bar is the perfect destination.
Thank you to the managers, Ava, and the entire Sunshine Breakfast Bar team for your unwavering dedication to excellence and for creating a space where community and service are truly celebrated.

It’s always a great time and great meal. Each meal is prepared with care, all staff members have positive attitudes. The kids enjoy themselves thoroughly. Weekends get busy, so you may need to plan for your hunger to endure a long wait.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu has 3 breakfast & 3 lunch choices, or consider 2-5 bucks more gets adult menu S’mores Waffle or the Cinnamon Roll French Toast that is sure to please.
