the food here is super good! i got tortelloni and it was delicious- tasted very fresh and yummy. the atmosphere was great and yelp check in was super helpful as we were seated immediately. we had the chance to sit outside by a heater which provided a really nice atmosphere.we had a really hard time finding parking here!!
I have visited Ziggys many times and each time I have had a wonderful experience. Shannon was the young lady who helped make the most of their dining experience for my dad. I had the best Bartender I've ever met. The dinner was fantastic too, and delivered timely. The Linguini and Clams are very, very good, something you don't want to skip.
Great food, bruchetta is da bomb.
I've visited Ziggys several times and have had a great experience each time. Shannon was the young lady who helped my family enjoy their dining experience. Shannon is the best and most engaging bartender I've ever met. The dinner was also excellent and arrived in a timely manner. The Linguini and Clams are something you don't want to miss, very, very good.
Been here a few times. Food is outstanding but the service is horrible!!!!! Very slow!! Would understand if the place was busy but with only a few other tables the service should have been a lot faster!
Dillon was our server and did a great job. Our food (chicken marsala and chicken fettuccine alfredo) was delicious! Because they make each order from scratch, they were able to accommodate my allergies.
Great Italian food, good service! All around great place!!
Been here many times over the years and it never disappoints. Food is always great, and they're eager to please. Favorite is the chicken parmesan. Gnocchi is also great. Wine Wednesdays with half price bottle can't be beat either!
Great place, excellent service!!! Love it!!
I've been going to this restaurant for years through its many incarnations: Our Gang, Il Posto, and now Ziggy's El Posto (a strange name for an Italian restaurant). Last night I ordered take out by phone and was told it would be 20 minutes for the order to be ready. I waited for half an hour before I even got in my car, all to no avail. My order hadn't even been started (a large dinner salad and meat lasagna) when I arrived and I waited 15 more minutes for it to be prepared. At this point, the restaurant was half full and not particularly busy. At home, I opened the salad and was greeted by half rotten red lettuce and spinach lurking in my mixed greens. I tried picking out the obviously dead ingredients and finally gave up, throwing the entire thing into the trash. The lasagna, which has always been one of my favorite dishes, was not the same stuff I had been ordering for years. All of this cost me a whopping $32 plus tip. This is not the first time I've been "surprised" by takeout from this place since it has morphed into Ziggy's. I have now 86ed this restaurant permanently because of the continually poor service and bad food I've had there in the last 6 months.

First time here was in the restaurant for a birthdy dinner a few weeks ago. Amazing food, excellent service. You could hear the live music from the Lounge next door thru the adjoining doorway. Motown made for a perfect night. Second time we came for the Roscoe Taylor Band in the lounge. Shared delicious stuffed mushrooms and out of this world lasagna. They have a great Moscato and Shannon was extremely attentive throughout the evening and the music was good. The dance floor was packed all night with dancers enjoying the sound of Roscoe's smooth voice. This is our new go to place to just relax, people watch and listen to music.
Haven't been there in a while only because I live so far away, but it has been a favorite of my family's for over 15 years. Great food and wonderful staff always.
I don't do a lot of reviews but our service and meal at Ziggy's last night deserves it.
I have been waiting so long for our food that I had time to do this review while sitting here. There is hardly anyone in the restaurant and we have been sitting at our table for an hour and fifteen minutes. Be prepared to wait for an hour to get you food!
The service was horrible. It took the waitress half an hour to get me my margarita and my dad’s beer. We got our appetizers almost an hour later and the waitress never took our actual order. We left without ordering entrees because they never took our order. The food may be good sometimes but their service is horrible. It was NOT even busy in there.
