“Sandra and Jose are such amazing people and have very welcoming personalities. They are so friendly and kind. They’ve got delicious food and drinks! The elotes are so good and they even have champurrado!! I haven’t had any since I moved up here from the Valley; my husband happened to see it on Facebook that it was available here. We rushed right over and bought some. It is SO DELICIOUS!!! Thank you Jose and Sandra! My husband and I will be back soon!!“

“Cute place! Every summer I come up to my grandparents cabin for a week to visit the beautiful weather and go fishing. I’ve been coming since I was 4 years old and we almost always make it a tradition to walk up to this ice cream shop and eat outside. They have very tasty ice cream and wonderful service. Come visit!“

“Came in today for ice cream. The place was a zoo! The young ladies running the counter were polite and very efficient! And I appreciated them being kind enough to get another scoop for my gluten free ice cream without even asking! The ice cream is DELICIOUS and you can tell it’s homemade! They also have several gluten free pastries and desserts as well. Great job and I highly recommend this place.“

“I’m from Hawaii and the cashier Ashley was so Super FRIENDLY I thought I was in HEAVEN. She’s the friendliest person in Retail I’ve ever seen EVER! The Atlantic Cod dinner with mashed potatoes and broccoli 🥦 was amazing good. This same meal in Hawaii would three times more expensive than here.“

“Sweet Slade’s is such a hidden gem in Lakeside. The ice cream is delicious, but what really makes this place special is everything they’ve created for families. There’s a full indoor mini town for kids little shops, dress up clothes , a tiny fire truck and so much more it’s all really clean and thoughtfully built. They also have a cozy game room, and upstairs there’s axe throwing for adults, which I never expected to find here. Ady and Airivyne were the ones who helped us, and they were so kind and welcoming. For a small town that doesn’t have many indoor options year-round, this place is honestly such a blessing. More people need to know it exists. We’ll definitely be going back.“
