I’ve had excellent pizza here before, so I expected the same quality from their Italian entrées. Unfortunately, the chicken cacciatore was very disappointing—it tasted like canned tomato paste poured over precooked chicken, not the rustic stew that cacciatore should be. Authentic cacciatore is simmered in broth with vegetables, wine, and herbs, but this version missed the mark completely.

I asked to try another dish (chicken with wine sauce and basil), which was slightly better but still overly salty and made with precooked chicken. For the price with drinks and salad—around $40—it was not worth it.

I’d recommend Red Devil for pizza, but not for traditional Italian dishes.”

I’m not one to leave reviews but this place is so horrible I would give zero stars if I could. We were told 30 min wait to be seated and then another 30 min wait for food. Which didn’t sound too bad. We were seated after about 30 minutes. We waited over an hour after being seated and our pizza still hadn’t been served. Two hours of our time. I went to pay for our drinks and inform them we were leaving, they STILL didn’t even start cooking our order yet. So they were fine with us leaving. What was incredibly frustrating is being lied to about the wait time, especially when you have kids, are on vacation, and that’s a waste of two hours we won’t get back. This place is a joke.

Food was good! The pizza and ranch are to die for…. But I think Kelly and cj? Just weren’t it. Seemed very scrambled.

We were seated right away and the service was good. The food was rather mediocre. My chicken piccata came out barely warm and the sauce seemed almost not fresh made. My wife’s eggplant Parmesan was burnt on top.

Love sitting at the bar with two of the best bartenders around. C.J. an Kelly are the best. The atmosphere and the food is great. Will be back...

Ordered take out, food was ready when I picked it up. Ordered the chicken Marsala, tortellini Alfredo with chicken and a meatball. They offer a cash discount, which was nice. The employees seemed disinterested and not very engaging. The service was prompt though. The three stars was only because the food was bland. I’d like to visit again, but dine in the next time and get the full experience.

Loved it. Have been going here for years, starting out with the one on McDowell many years ago. Hadn't been in a little while, busy life. Went today & had a very delicious pizza with pepperoni. It was excellent as always. We also love the bread with the butter that's served while we're waiting. Atmosphere is great, love the flags on the walls, very clean & we didn't have to wait very long for our pizza. The only bummer was that they didn't have our favorite Cerreta's mints for our dessert. We were told they were having a hard time getting them & we always looked forward to having them after dinner. This place is one of our faves.

We always have a wonderful meal at Red Devil. The service is great, the place is nice & clean, the atmosphere is friendly & we didn't have a wait for seating or meal service. We got a pepperoni pizza & it is always consistent & tastes as good as always. We were bummed that they didn't have our favorite Cerreta's chocolate mints for after our meal. We were told they are having a hard time getting them now. We hadn't been in a while & we were glad we chose Red Devil for our pizza!

If it's ITALIAN you want then the Red Devil is the place to go in Pinetop/Lakeside Arizona. Plentiful free parking adjacent; comfortable seating areas; full bar; helpful service and a FULL MENU for anyone likes ITALIAN anything. The appetizers beckon with a wide variety of wing treatmens, as well as shrooms, minnestrone, but the big winner is the cheesie garlic toast (with rich and flavorful red sauce for dipping); salads from wedge to caesar to greek are all sizable and seasoned perfectly. The antipasto a meal in itself. The lunch/dinner menu features sandwiches / subs (meatball, chicken, turkey/philly steak....and then into the Italian specialties. We had the four cheese meat lasagne and the eggplant parm......smothered in a tangy red sauce; portions sizable; right out from the oven with the sauces still bubbling. Tasty. Very. Among the other favs are Chicken Cicccatore, Chicken Alfredo, Portobello Ravioli, Tortellini Alfredo, Shrimp Alfredo......the chef features full blown authentic Italian fare. Chances are good you'll be boxing up leftovers....the meals are substantials. There's vegan and gluten requirements. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and volume of each and every dish. The servers are veterans and know the many options for each dish to meet your expectations. Friendly, sincere, accurrate. Well worth a leisurely stop amidst the pine forests of the White Mountains of north east Arizona.

Bartender didn't seem like he wanted to be there. Calzone was flat and not a lot of fillings like we've had in the past. Antipasto salad was good.
