Kid-friendliness: We had a great time , the atmosphere was amazing with assistance whenever you needed it . They have lots of fun items to look at and take pictures with . 100% would recommend again

We had a catered function. Like the decor and location. Didn't experience food or Staff.

This place is nice rustic. Rather over priced. Asked for rib eye steak, medium. Got really rare, sent it back for more cooking. Came back. Had not been cooked more. In fact, had not been heated, was actually cool. We were not charged. Service was good

Been visiting here for a few years and we stopped by today to get carry out and was told they don’t do carry out today! Very disappointing! There was no line waiting and didn’t look like they were very busy like I’ve seen before. It was 5pm. Only needed to order for 5 people and was told
No! I tried calling several times but no one answered phone before I traveled 20 minutes to the restaurant. Very very disappointed!!!

The entire staff was friendly and hard working. Our sever was attentive to our large party needs. The atmosphere was kid friendly, open, and enjoyable. We made reservations ahead of time and the hostess sat us shortly after we arrived. The staff checked on us several times and cleared our space promptly, as needed with 5 kids. We overall had a pleasant experience.

OK, so this is our first time staying in Pinetop and this general area, and we were staying at the Greentree Inn, and we asked the hotel front desk and bartender where a good place was to go to have a steak, and they both recommended The Hungry Buffalo restaurant. Hubby and I were both craving a steak so we ordered the 16 ounce ribeye which was cooked to perfection and seasoned deliciously. We were able to manage eating only half of it. The owner, Scott came by to greet us before we even ordered our meal and he brought us two very nice glasses of red wine, upgrading us essentially above what we ordered which was greatly appreciated. Our server Ryan was expedient ; to the point and very efficient.
Overall, we had a great time. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, watching the rodeo on the television screen, to us, it felt like we were in a different world, being that we live in downtown Phoenix. This place is great, and everybody there made us feel welcome and right at home; even the guests that we’re leaving the restaurant were very friendly to us, waving us goodbye and encouraging us to enjoy our time there:)
I kind of felt like part of the family! ❤️

The "Chicken Fried Steak" is not for the weak at heart! $22 for a 12 inche steak, big as the plate! A separate plate for the "mountain of mashed potatoes"!! Then a cup of "Green Chili Chicked soup" awesome!!
