I’ve never had a bad meal at Ciao Bella, and everyone is friendly. The owners and manager check on customers regularly. My favorite dish is the chicken formaggio, and the wines are very nicely priced. Always my first answer when someone asks where to eat.

Service, portions and overall flavors were good but here is my NY Italian perspective and constructive criticism (I hope). The mussels with red sauce were unnecessarily salted with a heavy hand. Finding the bacon in the brussel sprouts appetizer was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Fettuccine alfredo sauce tasted like creamy butter sauce with barely a hint of cheese.

The calamari was very very tough. On our main dishes the broccoli was not cooked at all correctly. The pasta had barely any sauce. Extremely disappointed. Service was excellent.

We moved to Prescott Valley a year and a half ago and had heard from friends that Ciao Bella is awesome. We finally went to dinner there and found out for ourselves that everything was as good as we were told. Even on a busy night, we were seated fairly fast. The service was extraordinary, and the food was as good as it gets. We are already talking about going back regularly to try other dishes. Well done Ciao Bella! You have new regulars.
