This is the best Mexican restaurant a round everything is fresh. Everything is great. It’s wonderful.

I stopped for a California burrito. It was delicious. I only ate half and took the other portion home. I told the young lady at the counter that I wanted to eat half now and take the other half home so she individually wrapped them. I sat in the dinning room watching the world go by and enjoying my burrito. She was very helpful and pleasant.

Good food!! You get lots of food for the price. Not bad priced worth the stop for good Mexican food.

The food isn't too bad just be sure and double check your order they seem to have a lot of trouble getting the order straight. You will get charged for it but there's no guarantees when you get home all of your food will be there. As soon as something else comes available on the way home we will be going there meanwhile it's just convenient but not reliable aren't even that great as far as taste

The carne asada burrito was tasty. The chicken quesadilla didn't have a lot of chicken but still had a good taste and nice Size pieces.

Great hole in the wall find. Parking is ridiculously tight. Maybe 6-7 spots at best. Have to squeeze around the building. The food is pretty good. Good for the prices.

You have a ton of different options to choose from, had ordered the shrimp burrito which had great flavor but they left the tails on every shrimp, which was gross. Other than that their food is delicious

Very nice people working here, however they don’t list everything that’s in each item. I bought a chimichanga burrito and it said it only had meat beans cheese and quac on top. i asked for the sour cream and quac on the side and no pico and lettuce under the burrito as i am allergic to pico, they made it correctly but it isn’t listed that there is peppers and other veggies inside the burrito. 20 dollars for a burrito that isn’t fully showing what’s in and on the burrito is a little unfair in my honest opinion. but that’s my only issue

I stopped by El Gordo’s in Prescott Valley and was seriously impressed. We ordered six tacos and two glass-bottle Cokes — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The atmosphere was great and welcoming, and you can’t beat the value: just about $10.50 per person for a full, satisfying meal.

I left full and happy! I highly recommend El Gordo’s to anyone looking for authentic, delicious food at a great price. Definitely worth checking out.

I’ve been coming here for about a year now, and this is hands-down the best Mexican food I’ve experienced in Prescott / Prescott Valley. Every plate is fresh, flavorful, and made with love. The street tacos are always a 10/10 — juicy, perfectly seasoned meat, fresh onions, cilantro, and warm tortillas… so good. And the salsa?? Life-changing.

One thing I absolutely love is the atmosphere. Hearing the cooks in the back sing while cooking truly brings out such a positive, happy vibe to the whole experience. It feels genuine, warm, and like you’re eating somewhere that takes pride in both their food and their culture.

If you want real, quality Mexican food, this is the spot. Consistent, authentic, and always hits the craving. El Gordo has my heart and low-key most of my money at this point 😂♥️

The owner has corrected the door dash pricing. The good pricing has returned to door dash and I have updated my review to a 5-star for good food, pricing, and owner responsiveness.
