Sharing I always hesitate to post something negative about a vendor, but I will make an exception for this scenario. I am a teacher at Mayer Elementary School and we provided lunch for our entire staff (and bus drivers!) for teacher/staff appreciation week (week of May 8th). Our PTO funded this and they've worked hard all year to raise funds so we can do things like this. On one day, we were going to have a food truck come and serve barbeque. Everything was set up, but they called and said there was a problem and they needed to switch days. This wasn't a problem, so we shuffled things around and decided on May 11th. They called the morning of May 11th to confirm, but then never showed up. They are not responding to calls, texts, or emails. If you know Matt, please have him call us and make this right --- if you don't know him, I would suggest not buying anything from him or using his services. We are out $458.56. (Yes, we paid in advance, that's the right thing to do.) MattyMcphattsBBQ 4672 N Cherokee Circle Prescott Valley

They don't stay to their word, and take money from a low income area! It was teachers week last week, and they saved all their money from raising funds to get a food truck for the wonderful people who teach at Mayer Elementary school, they paid in advance and they never showed, they refuse to answer any phone calls and kept the money that could have been used to help the teachers and students!! They lost us as a customer. Be safe don't go there, you might not get anything even if you paid.
This company took advanced payment for food truck/catering service for Mayer School District for Teacher Appreciation week and never delivered their service.Refund their money, make it right!
What a peice of work. I wouldnt support this clown. I am not a teacher and did not write this but this happened at my kids school.I always hesitate to post something negative about a vendor, but I will make an exception for this scenario.I am a teacher at Mayer Elementary School and we provided lunch for our entire staff (and bus drivers!) for teacher/staff appreciation week (week of May 8th).Our PTO funded this and they've worked hard all year to raise funds so we can do things like this.On one day, we were going to have a food truck come and serve barbeque. Seems owner likes to take money from the Mayer teachers for there teacher appreciation and then never show up. Not cool.
Poor business and out right theft. MUSD#43 Prepaid for a Teachers Week Luncheon and they never showed. No further contact has been established with school to remedy. The expense was collected throughout the year just for this year end event in appreciation. Do you know how much a teacher actually makes yearly? It's literally below poverty level. Scammers like this need to be called out and perhaps educated appropriately on basic buisness and humanity.
Sharing from our local school in Mayer, because what Matt did to them is WRONG!"I always hesitate to post something negative about a vendor, but I will make an exception for this scenario.I am a teacher at Mayer Elementary School and we provided lunch for our entire staff (and bus drivers!) for teacher/staff appreciation week (week of May 8th).Our PTO funded this and they've worked hard all year to raise funds so we can do things like this.On one day, we were going to have a food truck come and serve barbeque. Food was ok not the best do not waste your money going here or the food truck. My friend also had them cater for an event and they did not show up. When I warned her their food is not worth it and time.

Under new ownership. Owner is very friendly and portions are generous. My dad really enjoyed his coleslaw and fries. My burger was very satisfying and fries came with yummy sauce. They are just opening back up since new owners took over. So I'm sure hours are still getting worked out. We will definitely be back. Owner said he is there 11a-3p every day

Food was almost perfect. hot dogs were incredible and fries were cooked to perfection. Only complaint (if you can call it that) was that burger was a bit dry, but still utterly delicious.

Tried Lumberyard Kitchen food truck for breakfast this morning. Was not disappointed! Ordered a breakfast burrito (sausage eggs potatoes cheese) and it was great! Plus it was huge! Enough for two meals. They also offer a loyalty card for even more value.I’ll be going back for more offerings…including something called Sopapilla Cheesecake!!! Can’t wait!
