Great little local place we learned about from an article in Arizona Highways. We stopped for breakfast, went on a hike on the Peavine trail, then came back for a late lunch and slice of pie. Very good.
Never judge a book by its cover!!! Berry's has the BEST flannel cakes!! Never heard of a flannel cake? Either had it! They are the light, fluffy, incredibly delicious cousin of the pancake. Their pies are beyond delicious! Their Dutch apple graced our Thanksgiving and Christmas table. Their berry pie competes with Knotts. Service is excellent and you will love anything on the menu.
Very cute indie pie shop and cafe. Located close to downtown Prescott. I think $5.99 is reasonable for a slice of pie. Some restaurants gouge you nowdays.
We had the banana cream pie. Creamy, custardy, crust done just right, chewy but light. The banannas were just ripe, not too mushy, not too firm. I don't like meringue, so my husband ate that. We took a rhubarb home with us. Can't find rhubarb just anywhere.
