We always look forward to dinner from Canton Dragon each time we visit Prescott. This last visit was no different. However!! What a disappointment! We got the sweet/sour chicken, egg rolls & the Beef Lo Mein. The sweet/sour chicken had minimal sauce, and the Beef Lo Mein was absolutely tasteless. The total for this mess was over $48!!! We don't know what happened, maybe new ownership. We will have to think twice before we go there next time we are in town.

Not going to knock anything about the place everything was just fine average across the board from the food to the service will definitely come again just not rave about it being any more amazing than others.

$22.45 for a order of beef chow mein!!?? My family has lived in prescott for over a decade and came there frequently. Ive been gone about a year and hankered for some of their food. Imagine my disbelief when i started to order and saw the prices! Looking at their recent reviews it looks like its gone downhill. Why are their dishes so expensive now? The vegetable lomein was almost $19.00!! For what? A bit of cut veggies, some noodles and sauce?? They must be raking it in as i know the ingredients dont cost that much!

YYYUUUUCCKKK!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
And I thought WZ Bistro on hwy 69 was bad!
I should have known. It was only old people there. Read my review on the now defunct Los Pinos Mexican food.
We ordered egg rolls, lemon chicken and general Tso’s chicken. I laughed reading about the general’s chicken. It is a secret recipe that goes back to ancient China. That’s all a bunch of baloney. It was developed in the 1900’s either in San Francisco or somewhere in China. That should have been my first clue. Both the lemon and general’s chicken were identical. Meaning they were prepackaged in some industrial factory shipped frozen and barely deep fried in house. Mostly made of batter. You can see that in the pictures. The sauces were very sweet. Lemony for one and no seasoning for generals. Definitely no spice. But hey, old people like sweet stuff. And all they need is nutrition. The egg rolls came out fast. Too fast. Mine was cold in the middle and very mushy and pasty. Kind of like baby food.
The old man that seated us had a mask on but only covering his mouth. He was the only Asian I saw in the place. Hispanic waiter.
If you like this food, well you might as well eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the rest of your life. This place is BAD!!

I actually looked up the old Calgon TV commercial showing the Chinese laundry guy say it was ‘an ancient Chinese secret’.

Staff was good. Food was crap!!! Overpriced and not sure what we got. It looked somewhat like what we ordered. But not sure. The potstickers were very disappointing. The Mongolian beef was grey and lost it's will to live. We will never eat here again.

I'm always ordering takeout from this location. I'm a picky eater and Canton Dragon always caters to the way I order which is extremely appreciated. I call and 10 minutes later I have a full cuisine. The fast food restraunts with their astronomical prices still serving subpar food can barely compete. In my opinion of course.

This is the best Chinese food in Prescott. Orange beef, Mongolian beef, Kung pao chicken, any fried rice are all incredible! Staff is all incredibly attentive and kind as well.

Ordered take-out 🥡

1) Kung-Pao - Not spicy enough, good flavor though
2) Sweet N' Sour - Good breading and sauce on side was yummy!
3) Vegetable Lo - Tasted delicious!
4) Vegetable Fried - Plain taste without soy sauce

I ordered the combination Chop Suey and the shrimp, chicken and beef tasted rancidly old. I also ordered the spicey crispy spicey beef and most pieces of the beef tasted old. It was not spicey. The steamed rice was ok and the pepsie was good. For over $40.00, I was dissapointed and will never go back.
