Carmelo's is now out of business! As of March of 2022 the Black Goat is at that location... We've seen the menu it is mainly steaks and seafood there's a burger and a chicken entree also.
The Black Goat? Outstanding culinary experience ! Erica, manager extraordinaire! has transformed the interior into what it is an upscale dining locale in the heart of Prescott.
We had trout with a sauce that complimented not overpowered, off the bone melt in your mouth short ribs, and a well seasoned pork chop with chutney. All side vegetables were fresh and perfectly cooked. Crème brûlée was superb. Servings were generous!

Some of the best food that I have ever put into my mouth came from Carmella's. The new chef clearly loves to prepare culinary experiences for the customers. The brussles sprouts appetizer was phenomenal. I have no idea how it was prepared so perfectly. From texture to flavor, the chicken piccata was absolutely amazing. I savored every bite. I cannot wait to return with family and friends!!
