El Gordo really is my go to when it comes to the most authentic Mexican food in Prescott. There are others that Tri to be authentic but El Gordo actually needs it! Whether it be taco Tuesday (ground beef tacos all the way!) or there chimichanga with guacamole, sour cream and a side of beans and rice… You can never go wrong! The free chips and salsa is just an add-on that highlights the true Mexico food experience!

Was told is best Mexican food in town but I Disagree. They don’t make their guacamole in house, their food was okay average. It’s an okay quick fast food option but I am never coming back as was not very impressed with food. I had the street tacos with carnitas & Al pastor and family order carne asada quesadillas and carne asada burrito, chips & “guacamole”. Overall their food could be better.
