Heavy Hitter Smashburgers is a privately owned smash burger place in town. The burgers are outstanding, amazing, and top tier. The Heavy Hitter Burger, the Sauthpaw Burger, and the uppercut burger are all mentioned. The uppercut burger had just the right amount of spice. The double patty smash burger is seasoned to perfection. The burger taste was wonderful. The smash burgers were a good size and very satisfying. Fries and hitter sauce were both excellent. The sauce with the fries was awesome. The fries are fried in tallow and were perfectly crisp, though other visits found them burnt, over-cooked, and crispy all the way through, with small quantity and broken crumbs. Fries are very expensive. The standard bun should be Brioche bun because their buns are not large or substantial enough for the burgers. No ketchup is available. The lighting in the small dining room is very dim. The cashier was friendly. This is a seed oil free restaurant that uses local Az beef. Quality was top notch and taste was fantastic. Highly recommend.
