The setting is the outside of an old railroad station with memorabilia scattered throughout the walls in the form of pictures.The sandwiches were excellent, wine was good and the prices are moderate and it is a little off the beaten path in the outskirts of Prescott.
A good surprise on a long road trip. More often than not, dusty old greasy spoon diners located on touristic routes serve truly impressive dishes.Iron Springs Cafe is a lovely exception, the decor has retained some of its charm, the staff is friendly and the menu features items one would expect in trendiest venues (avocado toast, veggie sandwich, etc.)Another local shop who deserves your support.

This restaurant FAR exceeded my expectations!Don't let the "Cafe" name or the humble (but charming) building fool you.This is a foodie find.Many creative and appetizing choices on the menu, as well as several specials.Both my dinner companion & I loved our dinners, AND the Peach Cobbler for dessert.Will absolutely be back.
