Paid 20 bucks for what any other gyro place would call a gyro he charged me 5.99 for extra meat. When I asked for more meat he said it would be more money. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Visit Sunday 6/22. Today Lorri begged me to go try the food trucks we've hears so much about in downtown Prescott. When we got there, there was plenty of street parking and the smoker smelled great. We walked around a couple laps, it was hot and sunny. There are water misters around the picnic tables, which made the heat/sun bearable. We were torn. The BBQ place was where we were going to eat, but at the time we were there - no one was manning the place. So it was between the gringo taco place and Mac's Hotdog and Gyros. The sound of Gyros over tacos (we just had tacos and pizza the day before) hit tge spot, so we went for Gyros and onion rings. An older (our age) couple met us at the window. Pleasant folks. Mom and pop shop? Dunno, but Lorri REALLY loved the onion rings. I did too.

Their rings are beefy thick onion rings, like steak fries are super thick, these onion rings were steak fry thick. The Gyro was pretty doggone good. Reminded me of a Greek place we used to go to in Dallas, when we were dating. Restaurant quality from a little ol' food truck. Great job you two. Thanks for the great experience.

The worst hot dog I’ve had in my entire life, same for the polish sausage. They looked and tasted like they were a week old. Dried up and shriveled drowning in mustard and ketchup tuff and skinny wimpy. They were $7.99 each, total waste of money. We are usually willing to give a place a second chance, but these were so bad we won’t try again. I checked dine in but this was a food truck at The Yard.

Had Chi-town dawg combo + 1 dawg. That GOD I don't have to drive south for an awesome dawg.
More later on the Italian Beef I got for lunch.

I’ve been craving a Gyro ever since I heard about Mac’s, why did I wait?? Fresh, hot, and delicious; and their tzatziki - YUM! Hubby devoured a chili dog, wishing he’d ordered two! Great service from super-nice people; “Midwest Nice” (like us ?) perfect fit for Prescott! Look forward to next time!

Mac's Dogs offers simple, yet expertly prepared food. I tried their Chicago dog and it was a perfect rendition of this classic favorite. The fries were exceptional as well—just really good fries. I would gladly enjoy their offerings any day of the week. Mac's Dogs also caters to those with dietary restrictions. My mom tried their vegan dog and found it to be perfect for her, especially since she can't eat beef without it causing stomach issues. This option allowed her to enjoy a tasty meal without any discomfort.Solid 10/10 recommendation!
