The owner (at least I assume it was) was super nice and went out of her way to greet my daughter who is hesitant about trying new foods. She was so welcoming and friendly that when we got back to our Airbnb, she was willing to try it. She loved the short ribs and enjoyed the chicken as well. She took the time to come over and ask her name and offer her a drink after seeing her asking me for something while we waited for our take out order. I love when people go out of their way...
Went to lunch at 0hana Hawaiian BBQ today with my wife and I could not be happier to have found so much a wonderful place! Try the spam misubi it was amazing! My wife and I are both cooks and are often disappointed with the quality of restaurant food but this place was soooooo good! The food was good. The chicken is delicious. Portions were solid. But showing up at 8:30PM and being told it was takeout only with 30 minutes left until the advertised 9:00PM close was a bit off putting. The employees seemed annoyed we were there and the way one carried herself as she went through the closing duties was annoying. Huffing and puffing when people walked in. Making a big deal about mopping. Blandly interacting with customers. It was as if they'd rather everyone...
