Went for a late lunch with my dear wife. I was expecting sushi rolls, but found something different. They don’t do rolls, but they do bowls. You can make your own bowl by picking your meat from a wide selection of sushi grade meat, a base (rice, kelp noodles, greens, etc.) and toppings (lots of toppings and sauces). The sushi is in little cubes. We chose a grilled bowl which is also an option. I had the volcano shrimp bowl. Pegged as spicy, it was far more flavorful...

I hadn't tried poke in over 7 years and I was encouraged to try Ahipoke in Queen Creek. I had an AMAZING experience. The young boy behind the bar was extremely patient, explained every detail of the options, let us try sauces, made us feel so welcome and able to try out new things on the menu. The food was affordable, fresh, and the place was quiet and clean. I will definitely be coming back!

This is my favorite poki restaurant. Actually, my favorite fast food restaurant too! I always get the 3 scoop with 1/2 rice and 1/2 lettuce, all salmon, wasabi citrus dressing (on the side) and all the veggies topped with sesame seeds. Two meals in one for sure. So refreshing, the veggies are crisp and cold, all the flavors mingle together perfectly and the large bowl itself makes it easy to eat. Be sure to get a scoop of the crab salad - soo good!
