Barrio Queen offers a mixed experience. While the food, like the tacos, is decent, the service can be slow. The tableside guac preparation might contribute to delays. However, the restaurant shines on special occasions. The birria tacos are a favorite, and the guacamole with pomegranate seeds is wonderful. The elote ribs were a hit, and the margarita flight was special. The food is fantastic, as were the drinks. The service was a disaster from start to finish, slow and inconsistent, a fault of a poorly managed and inexperienced service team.
