I rarely write a bad review, but i feel its necessary sometimes. On Saturday March 29, 2024 our family of 6 went to have dinner at Barrio Queen in Queen Creek. Our waitress was awesome and our drinks were not bad at all, however the food was horrible, I had the birria tacos and the meat was super salty, the refried beans were so salty that I could not eat them. My brother ordered a side of refried beans as well and there was pieces of ceramic on his beans. We let our waitress know and she let the manager know. He come over to our table apologized and said it was probably the plate that chipped. I don't recommend it

Loved this place! Salsa & warm chips soon after seated, the salsa is excellent! We bought a few varieties of tacos and they were all delicious, especially the chorizo one. Server stayed on top of the drinks and was pleasant. The atmosphere will keep you entertained as you look at all the artwork. This would be a fun place to hold an event as it's huge and has lots of room for that.

Ordered 1 chicken and I shrimp Taco. Didn't get shrimp, not sure what it was. Wouldn't honor $1 off for Taco Tuesday. Said not on premium Tacos. These nothing more than street tacos. Service slow even though it was quiet. Nice restaurant, others at table enjoyed their meals.

It was a really good place to eat at and go on a date. Our server, a man named Ross I believe, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was AMAZING!!!! I definitely want to come back.

I loved the food, I will give them that. However their live band outside was excessively loud. We were seated inside, and there was no reason why a band of acoustic instruments should have been drowning out our conversation. We had some hard of hearing members in our group, and requested to have the amps turned down or the doors closed or something. But the staff seemed powerless to control their mediocre acoustic band. I guess it’s cool to have music be so loud your waitress cannot hear you when you’re trying to order?Also one of the younger staff was bringing my plate, and handed me a burning hot dish of rice and told me it was hot after giving it to me. Then he almost hit me in the face with another scalding hot actively sizzling plate. I felt it graze my cheek, and my husband was leaning enough out of the way that that didn’t need to happen.

Great atmosphere, good food and great customer service. There was a manager who was helping out at happy hour and he was so nice and accommodating. I forgot his name but he was a black guy with long curly hair. Great guy, he needs a promotion!

Sat for 15 minutes before anyone even stopped at the table. There were less than 20 people seated in the restaurant. Our order sat under the heat lamp for another 15 minutes before it was delivered to our table. The taco was dry and inedible. The soup was hot but had sat so long that the tortilla strips were mush in the soup. The Carne Asada was very over done and the pork soft taco was stiff and dry. Very disappointing experience.

Took awhile to be seated. 6 people and they were cleaning the table. The hostess then disappeared. When she came back she started seating smaller parties, but ignored us entirely. Walked out to check on the table and that seemed to upset her. There was virtually no spinach in my spinach enchiladas. My dish and one other was not warm. The vegetables for the fajitas were way overcooked. The tacos were good. The margaritas were excellent for. Our waitress was great, but overworked. Don't mind spending the money, but not on bad food. The cooks have to know the quality they're putting out, but maybe don't care? We had taken out of town guests so, of course, that made the experience worse. Bad experience except for waitress and drinks. Won't be going back for food and won't be recommending.
Service was a little slow at times, especially initially when waiting to place our order but overall it was a good meal. Not the best Mexican food I've ever had but not the worst. I wouldn't make it my “go to” Mexican restaurant but would go back for a meal.

We frequent this place but our experience has been on occasion disappointing with the service staff and bar taking way too long to serve drinks and check if we need anything. Which we did on our last visit. I paid for a $32 carne asada entree and only got 2 flour tortillas. When I needed to request more to finish my meal, it took like 20 minutes to get an hold of the server who was working way too many tables to be able to provide quality service in my opinion. Needless to say, my steak was cold by that time and my mood was no longer happy to have come out to eat. I arrived in a great mood and left in a miserable mood. This is not something I would ever write in a review but I felt the need for management to realize it’s not ok. You may want to cut your costs or so it seems to keep understaffed but it becomes a problem when it’s at the cost of the customers experience and wallet. Please do better.
