Tried the Original crust and the Golden crust. Will try the thin crust next time. Both were good. I like the Golden bit more as has that buttery crisp flavor and texture. The caramel/cinnamon monkeybread was a tasty dessert treat too.
I have fond childhood memories of Godfather's Pizza from my days in Illinois. My family regularly had Friday night dinners that produced Saturday morning leftovers to be enjoyed watching cartoons.
When we first moved to Arizona Godfather's was here in Phoenix and it brought back memories of home and family dinners. Sadly they left Arizona...So when I heard they were coming back I was excited to try them with hope it would be as good as I remember....

The taco pie is not what it used to be, which was very disappointing. If you can't do something like it used to be done it's better to leave it alone, in my opinion. I used to love the taco pie and it has changed and not for the better. There are much better places to get pizza in my opinion. Not to mention it was quite pricey. $40 for a large pie and 2 drinks. Also no fountain drinks which my wife didn't care for. Very small place and I couldn't imagine getting...
