I've never been to a Pita Jungle before. To be honest, I've never even considered going into any type of Pita -based restaurant. I actually thought it was a small counter-type take-out place selling beets and celery on a pita. My wife suggested we visit for lunch and I could not have been more impressed with, well, everything. We usually pick food up after a long day to enjoy at home. Anything you get is delicious but we are really into the Mezze Platter and Carmalized Cauliflower with Tahini. Healthy and great on a hot day.
I forgot how great this place is. We sat at the bar for happy hour and the service was awesome. Generous pour for a very good price. Two meals and 4 drinks for $50. You cannot beat that. The restaurant was also busy but not so packed it was hard to get a seat. Salads and bowls had a welcome freshness that is uncommon in other chains.
