This had an old timey atmosphere and is clearly a local favorite. The place was full for lunch with good reason. Food was great and a wild selection form Orange chicken to Burritos to one of the best Burgers I have had. Home made curly fires were a hit. Will be back upon my next visit!
Nickels has been a staple for Rio Rico for years now. It's truly a wonderful dining experience, the inside is decorated like a retro diner which fits the whole vibe very well. The menu is classic diner food with some local influences included. ALL of it is delicious and pretty much cooked to order. I had the grilled pastrami on sourdough with the seasoned fries and it was SO GOOD. The service is also awesome, the staff is incredibly friendly and they remember who you are...
We had a fantastic lunch at Nickel’s Diner last week! My cheeseburger was delicious! And so were my zucchini fries! We had a cinnamon roll as a starter! It was so yummy! I would highly recommend the food! The atmosphere and the service were great too!
