Amazing chicken, number 1! Loved the pita bread so soft. Delicious food had the salads. Staff was very nice. Place was clean, not a large place.

I ate there today and was just really disappointed as this used to be a pretty good option for Greek here in San Tan Valley. I also find it very concerning that there is another recent review below discussing the taste from the drink machine and explaining when brought to the staff’s attention it was brushed off.
I had lemonade from that machine today and fully agree something isn’t right. For me it wasn’t a carbonation issue but instead the lemonade had a VERY strong mildew taste. Honestly, I’ve never tasted anything like it from a commercial soda machine before. To make sure it wasn’t just me I had my wife try it and she agreed the taste was that of mildew. Sadly, I will not be going back and I hope for others sake that honest feedback from now multiple patrons is addressed.

They must of gotten bought out again because service has gone down drastically. There use to be a really nice guy that owned it and now it's just some crabby old lady who has terrible customer service skills and she can't math at all, the "estimated time of pickup" is soooooo not even reasonably close to what she tells you and then she gives excuses instead of an apology with zero intentions on making it right for the customer. She says she didn't know the Gyro meat cone needed to be changed. That must be because she doesn't have eyes, she is blind and can't see that it's running low ahead of time and will need to be changed soon and maybe I should add more time onto the times I'm so inaccuratly telling my customers. A good manager sees obstacles ahead of time, accurately plans for them and multi tasks to ensure good customer service and repeate business. Arguing on the phone with your customers because of your screw up is the definition of poor management. Do better! Hire better! Because she's not it. After over a decade, my family will not be eating here anymore.

Love this place you are full and happy.
Updated price comment, they are now charging you extra to use a debit or credit card. Sorry I won't go back
Unfortunately, it was a pretty mediocre experience, and I didn’t realize that I had been automatically charged 20% gratuity until after I had gotten my receipt. it definitely wasn’t worth it, and I absolutely would not have done it . My Gyro was tasty but a little bit dry and when I asked for a tzatziki sauce, the lady behind the counter didn’t even bother to say a word including a you’re welcome when I said thank you. She was nice to the older customer that she knew that came in after that though. I’m a local and I saw it on TikTok and I’m glad that reviewer had a better time than I did.

We love this place, we've been eating here for years. Though it was a fight sometimes because of limited hours during the pandemic, we kept going.
This last time, however, wasn't great.
Someone that worked there decided to step out the back door, leave it open, and smoke a cigarette. Which made the entire restaurant smell like smoke and caused all three of us to stop eating.
Now, I'm an ex smoker, I get it. But to think the smell doesn't spread far and wide, much less directly into the door you're standing next to on a windy day, is willful ignorance. Disgusting.

I love the jalapeño hummus and pita bread. It's the one thing that's always good. The fries are hit or miss. Just ordered a few days ago and got hamburgers. I'd give them 6 out of 10.

We love Greek Island Grill! Food is always fresh and delicious every time. We’re originally from Illinois so we were so happy to find this place! My fiancé loves the gyros w/ extra meat, and I was ecstatic they had the original pizza puffs, no more waiting to fly back to IL to get our fix ?! We always have to get a couple when we order. My favorite is the grilled chicken pita and you have to get extra tzatziki sauce because it’s the best!
I also had their Philly cheesesteak which is phenomenal as well!
Definitely try it, you won’t be disappointed!

This place has been flying under my own radar!! I've been coming here anytime ive had the craving for a good quality Gyro. I have just discovered however the beauty of their other features. There is a honey pita dessert that just is great. the Philly cheese is straight off the east Coast flavor.......look forward to trying the rest of the little gems soon. Gyro burger with greek fries next, please!!!

My partner and I were visiting from CO. He is originally from Houston where there is a huge Greek food presence down there. In downtown Denver, there is a huge Greek presence that I'm used to. I'm saying these things because it shows we both have really high expectations when it comes to Greek food. This place did NOT disappoint at all. The service is pretty straightforward; you order at the counter and then they bring you your food. But the gyro's were HUGE and filled to the brim with awesome ingredients. I appreciated that you could order a specific numbered meal and regardless of what you got it tasted incredible. Next time we visit my dad I know where we will go again! Thanks for making both authentic and Americanized versions of Greek gyros guys!
Vegetarian options: Not quite sure if I recall how large the veg options were but I do remember seeing some there. Plus you can omit certain things or double up on certain things if desired.
