The only bad thing I can say is that David teaches too well and makes the game too easy. I feel like I could join a professional axe throwing league, but would probably lose a finger. My over confidence will be my downfall.
David nails that balance between hype man and safety pro. He keeps the energy high without ever making anyone feel rushed or stupid for being new. He remembers names, reads the room quickly, and adjusts his style for couples, families, or rowdy friend groups so everyone feels included and confident. That combination of approachability and professionalism is a huge part of why the night feels so smooth and fun.
Batl is a great place for a fun night! We came with a girls group to blow off some rage, and Hailey made us feel right at home. Hailey took the time to explain how everything works. I had never thrown a knife and now I feel like a pro! This is a great date night place or a place to go with friends. They also have pool tables!
