The bartender seemed to be mostly concerned about one table and the hostess was nowhere to be found. Once we finally got a seat, the waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was good and the smells of the BBQ made the atmosphere better. Not sure if I’d come back here but it was good for a single visit to the area.

We love to hit up a Triple D location!Came in on a Sunday night and we were seated within about 10 mins.Food was fantastic! We had the wings as an appetizer (highly suggest the honey sriracha). I had the prime rib French dip sandwich and it was amazing!I also had a bourbon cocktail, which was excellent.Kitchen and bar service was a little slow, but our waitress was super attentive and was constantly checking in and updating.

Nice little barbeque spot in Old town. Speakeasy vibes. Loved the orange vinaigrette and the rolls. The pork belly tacos were kind of dry, like they needed a little sauce. The brisket was okay too like it also needed sauce. We had the jitterbug for a drink and it was good, strong too. It seems like there was only one waitress in our area handling 4 tables by herself so her visits to the table to check on us were sporadic but she seemed to be doing her best. Prices were pretty average and the servings were reasonable.

We have tried this place twice and it always seems to be very short on staff. Drinks take quite awhile to come out (15-25 minutes minimum). The hostess is always wandering around leaving people guessing at the entrance, and our waitress would disappear for big slams of time. Food came out sporadically. Just not a pleasant experience.

The food and service was good, but there appears to be a problem with the menus. I require gluten free food, and went to Bootleggers because they had a gluten free menu. I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs from this special menu and the price was $19. When the bill arrived, I was charged the price listed on the regular menu for the same dish - $29. When the amount was questioned I was told the gluten free menu was just a guide for the safe food, but all prices are on the main menu. ???? Not impressed.

The prime rib was very, very tough and fairly expensive.

Brisket was dry, but the vibes were good.Vegetarian options: This is a smokehouse. Take your crazy plant eating diet elsewhere.

My wife and I went here on Sunday, 2/18/2024. We got there around 1 pm. There were not many people in the the restaurant, 1 large party, 1 table of about 6, and 2 tables of 4 people. The large group was done and had even paid their bill. The waitress come to our table promptly and asked for drinks. We asked for waters. That took about 10 to 15 minutes to get. Then she took our order. My wife ordered a burger with fries and I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with the chips. The food took about 40 to 45 minutes to get to the table.During this time waiting for the food, this table of four sitting behind my wife were extremely loud. My wife could not hear me when I talked in a normal tone and even the table of 6 kept looking over at them. When the loud table left, there was even a little clapping. Management at no time said anything to them. When the table of 6 left, they were even commenting on it to us. Once the food was there, it was decent food, which is why the 2 star review, otherwise would be 1 star. After we ate and had our empty dishes on the table, it was another 20 to 25 minutes for the server to come over so we could get our check. We sat there with our empty dishes the entire time. She would go to other tables and I would watch her so I could get her attention. Not once did she look our way. So for us to go in there for a quick lunch, it took almost 2 hours! I would not recommend this restaurant unless you want to spend a lot of time there. Wonder how much longer it would have taken had we ordered mixed drinks, dessert, or even a more complicated meal than a burger and pulled pork sandwich!

Pros: Great location Nachos with beef brisket was outstanding! The meat was so tender The apple moonshine was tasty - hints of cinnamon Loved the rustic decor Cons: Can get crowded if you go at peak A bit pricey - 20 bucks for a sandwich! Pro tip: Sit outside and enjoy the smoker aromas
