I have been a customer since Butta Cakes opened. EVERY time service has been exceptional. In response to the last review, when placing a large order it only makes sense to call ahead - not arrive 15 minutes before closing. I order 5 dozen every year for a derby party and call the order in weeks in advance. Service begets service. The cakes are exceptional - Small delicious moist bites of cakes. Was happily surprised to find that they were open at 9:00 am and finally stopped in after passing by a few times before. They did not disappoint. I brought home: GF original, a PB, Key Lime and Fruity something or other (think- fruity or bles, for my son) You serve at room temperature. They are small, 2 bites but don't let that deceive you... they have the perfect denseness and are just filling enough. I will definitely return and they would make the perfect treat to surprise...
Delicious little gem! Butta Cakes is small, quaint, and the cakes taste fresh and homemade, not full of preservatives like some other places that make similar-sized cakes. It’s right next door to my every-three-month appointment, so now I actually look forward to that visit knowing I get Butter Cakes afterward!
