Six stars for Trevor at Crave Café, Omni Hotel & Resort!

As a 20-year Valley resident originally from Seattle, Trevor brings not only top-tier barista skills (the iced lattes my friend and I had were fantastic) but also an impressive knowledge of local spots to eat, shop, and explore.

What really stood out? Watching him connect authentically with several guests, offering recommendations, and delivering the kind of warm, attentive service you expect at a luxury resort like the Omni.

This is the level of hospitality that elevates a guest’s experience — the kind every resort should be proud to have on their team. Bravo, Trevor!

Little cafe and souvenirs shop, located in Omni resort. You can find bakery products and snacks, beverages, wine, toys and basic drug products. For breakfast you can have fresh fruit, granola with yoghurt, burritos or bagels and few other options. The staff is kind and friendly. Great place for the guests who are staying at the Omni resort.

I visited the resort for a business conference, however, I arrived a few days ahead of time so had the opportunity to explore the area. This is a lovely resort in a stunning area of Arizona. It's possible to go hiking directly from the resort, and it's an easy uber ride to Scottsdale and Phoenix. The resort has a range of amenities, two swimming pools, one for adults only. A main restaurant and bar, a cafe, shop, and more casual sports bar/restaurant. On the weekend it appeared to be a popular spot for hens parties and family gatherings. And during the appeared to be predominantly leveraged for events. The rooms are spacious with outdoor space. They were clean and comfortable with everything one might need. The food was fantastic both in the restaurants and the catering for our event. The event space was very good and the space available for evening parties and breakfasts in the garden was nice. The only slight drawback was the limited timings that the main restaurant was open. For lunch the only option appeared to be the casual sports bar. I also attempted to get a drink at the pool bar shortly after 5pm and was told they had finished service, which was quite a surprise. The concierge was brilliant and helped me book a balloon ride over the desert, which I would highly recommend. He also connected me to other guests so I could share a cab. Overall great service and a lovely location.

They misrepresented themselves with the pictures in the website. The grounds are somewhat maintained. The rooms, are old, the furniture are scratched and banged up. The curtains were dirty , the carpets are stained. From the minute you step into the lobby , you see that the place needs to be updated.Just all around it seems not well maintained, 80’s style hotel. Definitely not luxurious as they want you to believe. Don’t stay there. There are better places around, where you get a better value. We left immediately and went to the Boulders. A much better choice!

This is an odd place. May be for some but not for us. They play club music until 10, even though there is no one at the pool. They say we leave it on in case some one wants to go to the pool. I called and said I’m the only one here and would like it off. They said they leave it on because they’re allowed to by the city. How about being a little more upscale and deliberate than doing something only because the city allows you. Things are run down. Missing light bulbs in places, old looking tiles in water fountains, cracks in walls, worn roll away beds as a few examples. It is not easy to run a resort I’m sure, but I’m not sure of the priorities of the person running this one. I’m not quite sure their attention to detail. Anyway, here’s the best one, there’s a miscommunication with my wife about something and as I’m waiting in reception for something, the guy that had the miscommunication with my wife rolls into the room and is like, you wouldn’t believe what just happened with such and such room out loud as I’m sitting there. So I say, I’m sorry, would you mind repeating that so I can hear it and the reception staff is telling him to whisper cause “the guy is sitting right there”. Anyway, this is my experience and my opinion. But if you want a refined stay, you may investigate other options.

Pros: the view from the resort is beautiful. Pretty palms and lights at night. Cons: pool needs work, constant smell of propane in the outdoor common area, rooms are tired/need redone (beds are super worn, furniture is beat up, walls and doors are dirty- see pics), spa service was sub par, spa waiting area was dated. In short, resort quality does not match the price per night to stay here. Lots of newer, nicer options in the Scottsdale area.

I attended for a conference, but it was also my husband and my anniversary, so he tagged along. We were put in a room with an amazing view and were surprised with champagne and chocolates. So classy! Food at Prado was excellent. We loved lounging by the pools in the afternoon. Areas of improvement: the heated pools could have been warmer and the furniture in the room has seen better days. Thanks for the great stay!

This is one of the best ever resorts I have ever stayed. The grounds are amazing and so relaxing. All the pools are so relaxing and staff is always ready for whatever is needed. We spent time at the adult pool and Kyle was so kind and made sure we had drinks and eats! MBar is a great place for a cocktail with a great atmostphere. Ask Victor for the Mezcal Old Fashion! The check in was so smooth and the entire staff is so very welcoming and accomodating. Our suite was ground floor and the view was amazing! Two chairs and a chaise lounge for enjoying the evening air. Bunnies, birds, palms and orange trees are just natural decoration for this amazing resort. The breakfast every morning has so much to offer and all of it delicious! We ate dinner one evening at Prado and Johnathan made sure our dinner was perfect! There are so many areas of this resort with restaurants, coffee shops, pools, shopping it is truly a place to visit and you won't want to leave.

The grounds, pools and views are amazing. The backdrop of the Camelback Mt. is spectacular. The staff was great. The restaurants were good and convenient. Four stars instead of five because the rooms are TIRED. Fortunately we were not in the room much and had great weather, but the rooms need complete makeovers. We didn't rent a car and it was so easy to Uber everywhere. The Uber driver will drop you off right at the trailhead for hiking and same for pick up, bypassing the packed parking lot and stress of having to find a spot (or not find a spot at all). Recommend eating at Grassroots.

We enjoyed our stay. Check-in was very easy though finding our room was a bit of a challenge. It would have helped if someone had walked with us a bit and pointed us in the right direction. The map provided, which upon further review was great, just wasn't enough for tired travelers. The room was very nice. Large with a great bathroom. VERY comfortable bed. Could have used some extra K-Cups in the room for coffee but the fact they were there at all was a plus. View of Camelback Mountain was nice though we needed to look out over a parking lot and storage containers. Loved the balcony. Again, very comfortable. Food at pool was very good as was the service (Thank you Tyler). We did not eat in any of the restaurants though HUGE shout out to the staff at Crave who were kind enough to find my sunglasses. The gym was VERY nice with a lot of strength equipment and cardio with 2 Pelotons. I would have liked to use the sauna/stem but it was only for guests who have gotten a spa treatment. Overall I thought it was a nice property though expensive. I'm still trying to get used to the post COVID prices of hotels. I could do without the $40/day resort fee but I realize they are not the only property with these fees. Overall, it was a nice stay and I can recommend the hotel.

We arrived at the Omni hotel all ready for the Super Bowl . We traveled from the UK and booked two rooms . We arrived after a 12 hour flight to find they’d only booked one room for 4 people. They did manage to sort another room out but the reception staff were not the most helpful . We got to the room and rushed to order food as room service stopped at 9pm. Any five star hotel we’ve ever stayed in has gone well beyond this. We also left laundry out on Friday morning at 6.30am and phoned reception to let them know to pick up and left a message with housekeeping ( as didn’t pick up ) Still sat by the door at 11am , phoned back to reception and was told they’ve been and gone and not picked ours up and that’s it till Monday! Again the staff on reception were very poor and un helpful Rooms very tired and dusty, we had to call housekeeping at 4pm as not been in . Paper cups in the rooms and not well stocked with coffee , sugar etc. Such a shame as a wonderful location .

My husband and I visited in mid July as a little getaway together, and some time to relax and reconnect away from the kids! I am SO glad we decided to book the Omni.... The grounds are stunning and you can't beat the views of Camelback. The rooms are spacious, cozy and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed quiet mornings on the patio overlooking the mountain. The food was PHENOMENAL. We enjoyed EVERYTHING we ate, especially the various tacos and appetizers by the pool. Since we were on a romantic getaway, we opted for the adults only pool and it did not disappoint. We LOVED every drink we ordered, and it was paired by outstanding service. The ambiance was perfect and we felt so relaxed and welcomed. The only recommendation I have would be a little update of the pool and. maybe some music playing at the adults only pool. We enjoyed our stay so much, that we have already booked another trip this June to visit the Omni again. WE CAN'T WAIT!!
