Wow! Just left Gordos, it was my first time and it’s absolutely delicious. The best tacos ever! I got the Baja fish, crispy shrimp and Phoenix cooks taco. All 3 were absolute perfection. The waitress was really sweet and attentive. I can’t wait to come back and try the other menu items!! ❤️

Update your hours of operation on google and yelp. Love driving to a place that’s closed.

Incredible tacos! Very fresh ingredients, generous portions and oh so delicious. In town from Toronto only a few days and already ate here twice (and soon to be three times). Casual, authentic places like Gordos where you can feel the love in the food and the service are the best! Even with the horrible $CDN - $US exchange rate, it's a great value too!

The lady that runs the front is just a delight! The food hits the spot every single time. I really like the carne tacos, calabazitas tacos, and definitely the cook’s taco (highly recommend). Even when they’re busy they give you a heads up that it might take a while. I have never had a bad experience here. Almost forgot the birria tacos; they’re delicious!

We ordered the quesa birria taco, carne asada, carnitas taco, crispy shrimp & avocado taco and the Baja fish taco but fried. The birria tacos are seriously the best I’ve had in a long time. But to be fair and honest, every single taco was amazing. I would most definitely be back and if you’re in the area or not, you should definitely stop on by. The service was excellent. They were so helpful. They let me modify a few things with no problem or questions.

I can only sum this up with a two words, Food Orgasm! The Surf & Turf Burrito is a complete and 100% gratifying food-gasm. It has changed my life forever. I will always compare every Mexican restaurant to Gordos from now on. You must go there! You deserve it and you will be absolutely satisfied.

Wow. This is one of those hidden gems that you have to ask around with locals. My nephew did just that and chose this place for lunch. I had the Birria taco and the 1950 Gringo Taco. My hands and napkin were orange from the fat and seasoning, which is always a good sign! The Birria came with a big cup of consomme for dipping. The limes had zero juice, but they brought some new ones that did! I gave it three for atmosphere, because it's like a cafeteria, but I didn't come here for ambiance, I came for food!
