While the entrees were good we made the mistake of eating outside. Our waitress was not able to see us so we kept having to ask other people to help us. They forgot our chips and salsa and when we told them they did bring it and we did not have to pay. We did not like the salsas and one was extremely hot. The misters helped keep us cool but someone in the front complained they were too wet so they turned them off and we started getting uncomfortably hot. It is a beautiful restaurant...
Our server, Sarah, was very nice and attentive! My wife ordered off the Restaurant Week menu. First course mussels were tender and in a delicious broth. Second course pork chop was very tough. Couldn't cut it with a steak knife. When returned., we sensed it was the same chop, sliced, in a sauce that wasn't on the original pork chop. We went for restaurant week, and the menu was amazing! The food is always exceptional. Service was also good, although the server sometimes seemed too anxious to take plates when we were not done eating. Love the ambiance. Discovered this restaurant first at its original location in Tubac, AZ and glad they opened a second location in North Scottsdale.
