The surf and turf was superb, as was the creme brulee that followed. The mountain and valley views from the patio are magnificent.

Sadly just wasn't all hoped it would be .. likely just understaffed and challenging menu .. server nice but team supporting him totally disconnected.. zero accountability gave food to wrong people.. didn't remember that we were there for birthday even tho had in reservation and physically confirmed with hostess.. Just a lot of disconnected team members..

We called before making our decision to go for brunch since we have a 10 pound dog and asked if they are dog friendly. The answer was “yes, you can bring your dog but you'll have to sit on our outdoor area”. We then arrived about 45 mins after calling, and upon checking in, we were told n they had no servers available to serve us on the patio. They couldn't tell us this when we called? We then offered a solution, if we can order our drinks and food at the bar and bring it to their outdoor sitting section and they said yes. (Great!) My partner placed our order at the bar, he asked if we needed to pick up our food and the bartender said no, we will bring it out to you. (Awesome!) Well, after waiting for 45 mins or so for two appetizers, we decided to check on the status of our order with the bartender who took our order and he was surprised that we are still waiting for our order. The bartender checked with the kitchen staff and a few minutes later he let us know that our order never went through. What??? We decided to leave as we've been waiting for almost an hour. Interestingly enough, as we were walking out two different staff members with their big smile were so oblivious the fact that nothing went right for us and continued to ask, “how was your experience?” Did you enjoy your time with us?” Are you kidding me? The staff definitely needs more customer service and overall self-awareness training.

The views and ambiance of the place were exceptional. The server was attentive and most of the food was very good. Unfortunately, we arrived and inquired about parking and was met by a very rude valet. He pointed us down the hill to self parking. When we arrived at the restaurant, when we discovered valet parking is complimentary for CIELO guests, I approached the hotel front desk, and no one seemed to care about the valet, Adam's rude attitude and tone. I left that interaction knowing leadership begins at the top and unfortunately at Adero/Cielo that is not present. Doubt we go back

The views alone are incredible, they have a limited breakfast/brunch menu. I had a salad and two of the things my husband wanted they didn't have. The tacos were a soggy but overall ok. They have great cocktails.

My group went to Cielo for my birthday. We specifically picked the restaurant for the outstanding view and 1/2 off bottles of wine. Unfortunately, their website is out of date and they are no longer doing Wine Wednesdays. I specifically noted my food allergies on the reservation. I called the restaurant before going in to double check that they could accommodate my allergies. Then when we sat down I told the waitress about my food allergies. After dinner the waitress brought out a plate of fruit for dessert. This would have been an appreciated gesture but there was pineapple on the plate and I explicitly told her several times that my sister and I have an anaphylactic allergy to pineapple. Our service was so slow that my 10-year-old niece fell asleep at the table while waiting for the bill. My sister had to go find the waitress to get the bill and again to get our cards back. The best part of the wait staff was the food runner who was attentive, joyful, and caring.

We dined at Cielo a little over a year ago and decided that the next time we came back to Phoenix we would stay at the Adero Hotel. We had a great dining experience and the property is incredible. Fast-forward to our most recent experience while staying at the hotel was very disappointing. We had a long day of travel and was looking forward to a wonderful dining experience with outstanding views. Perhaps not a good idea to always have high expectations. The restaurant was not busy at all (maybe 4 tables) when we were seated. It was over 25 minutes before anyone asked us what we wanted to drink (this after asking the hostess for help). Finally someone got our drink order and then it took an inordinate amount of time before any staff came for our food order. The staff was very nice but there seemed to be confusion as to who would take care of us. Again their was only a few patrons. Our food took really long considering the lack of customers and my chicken was edible but barely warm and drowned in sauce. This is not what fine dining should be and we really overpaid for uninspiring food. I don't think I will ever return despite the wonderful view while dining.

Our dinner experience, unfortunately, was very bad. We were served fish that was undercooked & beef that looked/tasted like it had been microwaved with uncomplimentary sauce/sides. This was disheartening because we had been before, and loved it, so this time bringing friends was a really disappointing experience. Our server took the fish off the bill, but being that our full group couldn't even finish the meals, it would have been nice to get something extra for the under prepared food when the pricing is extremely expensive for what it actually is.

Restaurant is basically a lobby bar and small restaurant. There is no separation between lobby/check in and the restaurant. Reminded me of a Residence Inn free breakfast setup. Easter Buffet was $130 per person for a small buffet with few options. Some of the food was good but there were few choices: the only egg option was an egg benedict on cold, untoasted english muffin, bacon was tough and chewy, sausages were soggy and undercooked, the shellfish was by far the best option, lamb chops were pretty good, they had a tasty crepe station that took awhile and very few other dessert pastries. I expected Fairmont Princess level event venue and buffet options for $130 per person. The service was TERRIBLE. They made everyone scheduled for the 1pm seating wait more than 20 minutes to be seated - why? - to print more menus for a buffet?! They could have just put item tent cards in front of each item at the buffet. Or maybe notice 30 minutes before the 1pm seating that menus were low. But to make paying customers wait for that? Drinks took 20 minutes to get to us (and the small restaurant was not full), nobody came by to take our plates between servings, we had to flag another server down, and they charged an automatic $129.50 service charge! I don't mind the automatic addition but the service has to be at least somewhat decent for that amount for a buffet with 3 buffet attendants and 1 server. When politely explaining what happened to the manager, he was curt, rude and defensive. Suffice it to say, we will not be going back.

I went for breakfast with 4 other people and it took about 30 minutes to get our food. My order was completely wrong (pancakes instead of eggs Benedict) while everyone else was served. I told my table to eat because otherwise their food would get cold. One person had overdone pouched eggs on the avocado toast, one person didn't get their toast, my order finally came out with pouched eggs that had clear/runny egg whites ... so I sent it back. Then I was served avocado toast...nope back for another try. My table finished eating by the time I got an edible version of my order. Maybe they are better for 2 people but not great for groups. To be fair they did comp 2 dishes but it was still an annoying experience. I feel like the staff and kitchen clearly need more training.
