George & Son's Asian Cuisine

I was disappointed today with my house fried rice and sizzling beef. However, the ny egg roll is always good. I had it delivered and I even heated my cast iron to have the sizzle effect but it was still sub par. House fried rice was mushy and I had to jazz it up a bit for more flavor. I called to tell them and they said they would tell the chef. Thats all.
I was looking forward to this meal but disappointed. I will move on to another place. But I do hope they know what happened because I owned many restaurants in the valley and I don't want them to suffer. They just need to correct. I wish them the best of luck moving forward

Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in the Valley. Amazing specialties and reasonably priced cocktails and wine. George Yang could not be a more gracious and congenial host. Try the festival shrimp! Free entertainment on Friday nights. Plenty of parking.

My family loves to celebrate big occasions at George & Son's. We fill up one of those 12 seat round tables with lazy Susan and order all the food to share. Don't skip the green beans!!!

Ordered the pad thai takeout. Taste was ok but a little disappointed as the noodles too wide, and not enough vegetables. The shaved peanuts were nice and large portion.

We usually grab takeout on Sundays for the family. The food is upscale Asian, but for the quality & amout, reasonably priced. We always have leftovers for the next day & nobody complains. Wonderful place & great food. Between the Scottsdale location & the North Phoenix location, we been a fan for over 20 years. Thank you

The best!

Great food. And very kind, and professional staff. The food was hot, and tasted great. I accidentally spilled my drink, and the staff were very kind and professional, cleaned everything up, and gave me an immediate refill.

The menu prices are way off from what I paid. Ordered the orange chicken dish on their menu, with a price of 11.99 listed. I didn’t order anything else, no soda, and my bill came to $18 and change.
This is not cool to do to your customers, and it feels intentional that they have not updated their menus. I hope the servers get paid well, because the restaurant stole their tip from me.
I’m always hoping to find a good and affordable lunch spot, but I unfortunately don’t think I’ve found that here.

Both the shrimp chow fun and the chicken chow fun were about half broccoli. I thought that was unusual. They were both very good. The hot and sour soup was entirely too sweet.

I’ve lived on both coasts and eaten my way through more great Chinese restaurants than I can count, and George & Son’s holds its own... full stop. The flavors are bright and clean, and the dishes taste like someone in the kitchen actually cares whether you come back. The staff is genuinely warm, and the place just works -- whether you’re sliding in for a quick bowl of noodles at lunch or grabbing takeout on a Friday night when everyone’s tired and hungry and needs something reliably excellent.
