We went for lunch soon after they opened. It was pretty busy but we were seated right away. We’ve been here a few times already so we know how popular this place is. We got the chirashi and sushi & tempura lunch special. We also got aji, ama ebi nigiri, spicy tuna and takoyaki. It was a ton of food. Food came out quick and all so delicious. I would consider Hiro as a place I get more traditional japanese food, rather than fancy decked out rolls.Kid-friendliness: We’ve taken our 2 year old here and regretted it. Not because they were not accommodating, but because it’s a small space.

I frequent this place it gets super busy but the wait is always worth it, genuinely the best quality fish you can get in phoenix and great vibes and energy from everyone. Won't ever stop coming here

The most overrated overhyped underwhelming restaurant in Scottsdale. I actually had a table next to me claim that this poor excuse of a sushi restaurant was supposedly "the best sushi in Arizona". Needless to say this was about as good as gas station sushi and at least there you know what you are getting. The sushi down the street at the fry's supermarket is a hundred times better. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Just back from a yearly trip to Hiro Sushi and they never disappoint! If you are in the area please go and try some of the best sushi around! See you next February :)
