Was surprised to find great sushi in Arizona on my visit. The chef was very friendly and charismatic. Casual but welcoming atmosphere. Amazingly thick cuts of sashimi and varied menu!
Highly recommend. Don't take reservations, first come, first serve only. Plan on possibly having to wait especial if you are a party of 4. We'll worth the wait though. Very attentive staff, tremendous value. An old staple that is truly one of the best in the Valley.
The lollipop roll was really refreshing and clean as well as the yellowtail. The salmon sashimi was closer to a Costco quality, not bad but nothing special. The katsu pork and chicken were good.
