Kyoto Scottsdale at the Waterfront

Food was excellent, service was great, the teppanyaki entertainment was lacking some. Overall a good time. The restaurant is overdue for a decor update.

The food was great! I got the Ramen and was very pleased with it! Service was decent enough. There's a hibachi section, so the air was a little smoky but not horrible. Prices were decent as well! Well definitely be back!

First timer..mommy and son date..came early and very nice. Service was excellent and was watching one Chef preparing sushi 🍣 and suddenly another Chef stepped in..that remarkable..we didn't wait too long..fresh food. Yuzu citrus cheesecake was 😋

The service and staff were friendly and the sushi was fresh. However, seemed very basic and overpriced for what we had ordered.

Good for big groups and celebrations. The food was average and the sushi was too chilled. The noise level is high.

The food was overcooked and bland. They were screaming Saki Boomer all the time... the show was ok, not great and the check was shocking! Totally overpriced. Never going back.

Worst food poisoning of my life

Came in today to celebrate my nieces 18th birthday and honestly I was pretty disappointed in the service we got from Alexis who was our server. I have been coming here a handful of times for so many birthdays and I've never experienced awful service the way I did tonight. Not only did she have an attitude but she brought out a beer that we did not order and when we told her we did not order that she tried to make us pay for it because she said she opened it. I also ordered edamame and had to ask for it 3 times and it finally came out after our food was cooked and everything, I feel like that was on purpose. She was not attentive and seemed to give of a pissy attitude. If you visit this place I promise everyone else seemes to be welcoming except the server we had so beware

Party of 5 and had gratuity added to bill. Saw the waitress twice and the entire table sat empty with drinks. The chef was pretty cool but performance lacked energy. Total bill was $351 not worth the money but I'll give them a c+.

I have been going to Kyoto for 30 years and Riki Rice is the best cook I have ever had. My favorite restaurant in Scottsdale

Dinner and a show!! Riki was truly talented and amazing. Witty, funny, and a world class juggler! While being all that, he was an amazing chef!

Wonderful place to celebrate with a big group! Food was delicious and the atmosphere is so fun!

Staff was greatly, they were very patient with me trying to navigate through the menu. Food was delicious!! I forgot how much I love their sushi and seaweed salad, the best I've ever had! They made our daughter's birthday so special, and was an amazing experience! Thanks, can't wait to go back!!

Space is outdated noise level is very loud try to charge $10 service fee for using a credit card

Service was good are chef Armando was above and beyond the best part of the service booked for a birthday celebration dinner they did not confirm it and offered no song or anything the chef asked and sang at table server was great at her job but not a great people person
