Interior is rundown and could use a refresh. Also saw the sushi chef eating his lunch right over the sushi bar. Set it aside and then started making food again. Employees and their uniform look unkempt. Food was mediocre tasting at best. To top it all off, they charge you a fee for using a credit card.

Not sure where to begin.. sadly, the only positive is the $10 lunch bento boxes, but even that was disappointing. The ginger dressing for the salad is drenched with soy sauce, so you really dont get to taste any carrot, ginger, etc. The miso soup was incredibly bland and was somewhat burnt?? Not sure how that was managed...
If you sit at the bar, you'll experience tons of fruit flies. Would advise sitting literally anywhere else. Or just going somewhere else entirely.
The most disappointing thing overall was the $20 Las Vegas roll. I've attached a photo of the two rolls side by side for size reference. My $8 California roll, and the $20 Las Vegas roll.. Not only was the size disappointing, but the flavor of both rolls was of low quality and actually made me nauseous after eating.
Will not be returning. The quality and quantity of food just does not reflect the prices, or area in which this establishment resides. Hopefully this business does use with this information.
Great atmosphere, very cozy and welcoming! Food is amazing especially the rolls and anything from the sushi bar! Highly recommend!

The food was very good and so was the service. The only thing is the title of the restaurant of very misleading because there is no water near the location. So “waterfront” is incorrect but it was a good experience for my sister birthday.

I come here for the stake bento box. The food is great. The price is right and service is great.
Great service
We had a great experience. We were there to celebrate our parents.Fifty second wedding anniversary. The staff was friendly and fun. We did have to wait thirty minutes after our reservation time. But Zion, served us up some pre dinner drinks with a fun attitude.
Good food. Older building and decor. Fun chop chop show. Check the receipt if gratuity included. Notice service fee.

This is a review for the sit-down experience, not the teppanyaki. We got sushi and it was very mediocre, with not a lot of content for the price. The menu is rather generic and there is nothing noteworthy on it. Service and wait time was standard. Bathrooms are ok in cleanliness, I'm not sure why one of them has a cushioned bench. Better to come here for teppanyaki and not the sit-down experience.

Get the dragon roll!!! All I have to say. So good. Everything else is secondary and didn't matter.

Ramen was disgusting. I have never had worse food in my life. Sushi was mediocre at best. Never going back to this restaurant ever again.
I’ve been here many times! Try the beef ribs! They are very good! Also the ramen and sushi are great!
I've been coming here for over 25 years, this is the best sushi you can find. The staff is excellent, the chef making the sushi has been there for a long time. Best of the best, people like Magic Johnson, Chuck Norris, etc. have all dined here. Go check it out, you will not be disappointed!!
