I've been living in Scottsdale for 18 years and don't know why I never visited this hidden gem. We were greeted immediately by Darius who was also our server. He was very attentive and incredibly friendly. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing and quiet dinner. Only 10 tables which is perfect. As for the food, my husband had the lasagna and I had the pesto pasta. They were both exceptionally delicious. But my favorite was the Spumoni ice cream covered in the chocolate...
Were do I start, we have been before and made a reservation. We were greeted by the Darius your treated like Family. The menu has so many great choices along with a couple added specials. We had escargot along with splitting a Cesar Salad. My Veal was fantastic along with my wife's butternut squash ravioli that she said was amazing. Great choice of Wine and Dessert to take home. Thanks Darius for your service and great hospitality.
Some of our dishes were excellent while others not as much. The chicken piccata was very very salty; capers with artichokes could be too much, the side of potatoes and vegetables were excellent. The gnocchi themselves were perfectly cooked but the Parmesan sauce was very bland.....not worth the calories lol; the bread, salad and chicken special were great and the lasagna was overwhelming, huge portion but most like that! The cocktails, wine options and cappuccino were all excellent....
