Mandarin Kitchen is a true hidden gem in Scottsdale. Lady at the counter is very sweet and great sense of humor — genuinely welcoming and happy to have you there. The food comes out hot, fresh, and full of flavor, clearly made to order and never rushed. What really stands out is the pricing: extremely fair for the quality and portion sizes, especially these days. If you’re looking for dependable, delicious Chinese food with great service, Mandarin Kitchen is absolutely worth a visit

The staff, food and service are all like being at a friend's house for dinner. Dishes were flavorful, came out quickly and piping hot. Nice place to go with a group of about 6-8 people. The atmosphere was basic but quiet and you can easily have a conversation.

I was greeted immediately when entering the restaurant and directed to a table. Are server was polite and friendly. She took our drink order promptly and when we were ready to order she was ready to take her order. She answered all of our questions.
The food arrived quickly and was hot. The food had a lot of flavor. Does soda have free refills.
The atmosphere was very inviting. The restaurant was clean.

chewy meat in thick sugary sauce, soggy potstickers, friend rice with one carrot and a speck of egg - even the fortune cookie was not good! This was a very unfortunate experience, I got fooled by the 4.6 rating which is not indicative of the experience we had. I’m already bloated 5 minutes after eating!!

Went for the lunch special and we were very happy with the plate. Comes with an egg roll, a crab puff, fried rice and your choice of entree. The amount of food is great. If I worked or lived in the area I would surely be a constant customer. The quality of ingredients is good.

Fresh food, great lunch specials and clean restaurant. We got the shrimp and vegetables and everything was really good. The vegetables were not overcooked which was nice and felt healthier.

Mandarin Kitchen Chinese Cuisine was a great choice for a new place to try!!! We had the General Tao’s Chicken and Mongolian Beef and it’s was delicious and the portion sizes are large! We like ours with the spicy kick and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the booths are new and everything was clean and pleasant! It’s a small dining room but nicely done. Thank you!

Sucks we couldn’t even trying the food because we got turned away 45 minutes before closing. Came to the door and right away turned off the open sign..
I visited once before after they open. I tried again. I called asking if white sauce made with corn starch and stated I was gluten intolerant so I could not have flour or soy. My mistake for not noticing lunch special came with fried rice, which contains soy. Meal was very salty and I had gelatinous globs in my food. It was clear globs. Needless to say my meal was unappetizing. I have tried them twice and will probably not be back. Very friendly staff.

Pretty good hole in the wall Asian food; clean, great service, food was pretty typical but on better end. Somewhat pricey but it’s Scottsdale.

Got the szechuan chicken lunch special. It was very tasty with lots of chicken and good sauce. Cream cheese Wonton was good too, but egg roll was more like spring roll.
