This is one of my favorite restaurants and the food is always good. The only complaint that I have is that it takes more than an hour to prepare even if you order online. I ordered my food through their site at 5:25 pm. When I showed up at 6:15 for my order, I still didn’t get my food until 6:40 p.m. My whole break in between jobs was taken up waiting for my order and I was late for work. The staff are friendly, though.
I finally made it over to Mochilero Kitchen and honestly, this place stands out in a Scottsdale restaurant scene that can sometimes feel repetitive. The food feels intentional. You can tell they actually care about flavor profiles, texture, presentation, and authenticity instead of just throwing oversized burritos on a plate and calling it “modern Mexican.”

We've been to this fabulous Mexican restaurant several times, and have never been disappointed! Please try the Premium Taco Trio - my go to is always the short rib, baja fish and shrimp diablo - so incredibly delicious. It is upscale, out of the box Mexican fine dining. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful place here in Scottsdale.
