First time ever visitor. Service was best I've had on this vacation. Food amazing and the drink was superb.

Brain dead staff. Ordered a green tea to go and they came out with a pot of tea and then said “we don’t have that option” when we asked again for it to be to go.

Absolutely blown away by Obon. This place was the perfect end to our evening. The ramen was fire—ridiculously good, rich, and comforting in the best way. The pork bun appetizer and edamame were next-level and disappeared way too fast.
What truly made the experience unforgettable was the people. The GM, Josh, treated us like family, and our server Lee was the kindest, most genuine soul—attentive, warm, and spot-on with drink recommendations (order the tiger’s blood, top notch!). Even late in the evening, the service never felt rushed and the hospitality was exceptional.
Hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had while traveling. We’ll be dreaming about that ramen and can’t wait to come back! 🍜🔥

Wow, we are in heaven. Our waiter was Jose, amazing. Josh, the manager is stellar. Food is unreal, delicious, and the portions are satisfying. Spices are perfect. We will be back.

The food was fantastic but we were a party of five. Three of us got served right away and two of us had to wait for 20 minutes to get our entrees.

We booked this reservation and were turned away at the door due to a private party. They should have ensured we couldn't book. Very frustrating

After we finished our meal I noticed the following. Spiders & cobwebs were present on lighting. The bathroom was unsanitary & unclean. Covid 6ft distant markers remain on the ground. On the plus side our server was friendly & knowledgeable!

The restaurant had no record of our reservation made on open table but was still able to seat us within 5 minutes. The hostess informed us that the issue was a change in their reservation system, which is not currently compatible with open table. We asked for inside seating and were placed next to an open garage door (essentially outside and cold by AZ standards). The restaurant was understaffed and slow. It took over 20 minutes to get a drink and about 45 minutes until our food hit the table (apart from edamame). There was no explanation or apology for it. This is unfortunately not the first time we have experienced painfully slow service at this location. The food was great, as usual, but I would be hesitant to revisit or to recommend if you are hungry or don't have time for the wait.

Waited for awhile after being seated and after out appetizers were served for utensils /plates/napkins, water carafe was so water spotted it was difficult to determine if it was dirty or clean, was never asked if a 2nd round of cocktails were wanted. Served ramen, no ramen spoon, asked for one, got regular spoon. Waited a long time for food, wait staff was struggling but waitress was very pleasant. Not the first time we've experienced this level of poor service, nothing comped, paid full bill and unfortunately this will be our last time at this location.

Horrible staff horrible customer service rude trashy and just pathetic by any standard. Second chance and some how worse then the awful service before this place is a waste of time if you want to order food and wait for over an hour the bald what passes as a bartender was even lower than this standard should be closed bugs on the floor just bad

I’ve been coming here for some time I love the food and the ambiance but What has stand out the most recently is the service. I want to shout out LEE the server with the dimple piercings, she is always calm, attentive and efficient. I ve seen her juggle all of the tables at once and preform flawlessly. GIVE HER A RAISE. I love her work ethic her personality as she is very charismatic and kind. She is a very fun and enjoyable person to have around and especially as our server. She always makes mine and my Wife’s day. My kids always leave with big smiles on face on the ride back home whenever they tag along.

The only complaint I would have is the foods price $$ and the proportions do not make sense. You would think for that price the food would have bluetooth incrusted. I think I would have to spend over 200$ to get truly full because I like to eat. The flavor is ok sometimes great but most times ok. Especially the sushi always just ok. To sum it all up y’all need better sushi chefs and bigger proportions.

Oh And the staff in the back crack a lot of unappealing distasteful misogynistic and some racist jokes and comments, to the point where it nearly ruined my wife’s appetite one time. The jokes aren’t funny and need to stop Immediately.

Beautiful restaurant, atmosphere and we had a great server. My only complaint that I kind of see a trend with is the smaller than normal sushi rolls. You guys should make the rolls a lot bigger and add a few pieces to justify the prices. Other sushi places have cheaper rolls bigger quantities and more flavor. Spicy tuna could be hotter. Only complaint, especially for the prices. Keep prices in mind too. We ordered x2 ramen, a fried rice, x2 sushi rolls, and x2 pork baos. Plus x2 soft drinks and a large sake and beer. We were at $122 without tip. Highly recommend the pork baos. Those stole the show!! 3 stars for the price and small sushi rolls. But good food for sure.
