I visited Ocean's 44 for the first time the other night with a friend, and while the food was very good overall, there were a few moments that didn't quite reach the elevated standard I've always heard about. My friend has dined here several times and mentioned that his past meals were even better, so it may have just been an off night in terms of consistency. What ultimately made the evening feel disappointing, though, was the service. Several staff members—including our server—were visibly more focused on the sports games playing on the TVs than on their tables. We also saw multiple employees on their phones sports betting during service, which created a distracted and unprofessional atmosphere. It really took away from what should have been a polished, fine-dining experience. With a bill totaling $170 before tip, I expected more attentive service and a more elevated overall environment, especially given the restaurant's reputation. While the food itself was enjoyable, the service made the visit fall short of expectations.

We came in from out of town to visit family and they took us here. I know this is a place where you should probably order seafood but steak is too good to pass up for me. I ordered the NY strip and I’ll say it was one of the better steaks I’ve had in a long time! Our service was great too, the servers were very attentive to us and always made sure we had what we needed. The restaurant also has a great atmosphere. I recommend it!

Great food but extremely awkward and inattentive service and overall odd experience. Early on was told they'd take good care of everything, and it was the opposite. The manager with the grey suit and pink shirt walked by the uncleared table 3 times mesmerized by the game on the tv. Really weird experience tonight.

Came here Friday night, last minute. We're able to grab resos for two. Got the hot seafood tower and a 22oz steak. Food and service were amazing! Might be one of the best steakhouses I've been to. The seafood tower was delicious and well done. The steak was crispy and perfectly seared on the outside but juicy and moist inside.
Probably the best restaurant I went to in Phoenix.

The best dining experience I've had in a long time. We were welcomed no less than five times by staff just walking to our table. The food was five stars and the atmosphere equaled the staff and food easily. Pricey but worth every dollar.
