I've never had a bad experience at pei wei, Until now, rice was undercooked, chicken did not look right or taste, right? There were only 2 other people in there. We ordered, and it took 2 and a 1/2 minutes to get our food. That's not right.
Worst chicken Pad Thai ever at a Pei Wei (no bean sprouts or snap peas and I don't know what else, but quite disappointing) if I wasn't needing to talk with my brother I would have said something, but it was edible noodle dish with green onion. I would have expected a location in Scottsdale would be better, not the worst.
Waited over 20 min for an online order for uber. That cuts into me making money because it slows my deliveries down. Need more people for help
I lIve in Flagstaff and work all over the state, I love Pei Wei and have been to nearly every location throughout AZ, while each one has it's small differences...and things have changed post COVID, my wife picked up a to-go order from this location 8787 N Scottsdale Rd #214/216, Scottsdale, AZ 85253.
IT WAS NOT PEI WEI.
For the first time in twenty years I didn't enjoy the food. The vegetables were off, meat and cuts off, brown rice not pei wei. Every dish was off. If you work for PEI WEI quality control this location is tanking your stellar reputation.

I ordered chicken lo mein on my way home and by the time I got home, I looked in the bag to find some random chicken lettuce wrap instead of the food I ordered.
I called to get a refund so I could go to the peiwei CLOSER to my house and get the ACTUAL food I ordered, only to be told they’re “not doing refunds” and she would “put the request through with upper management”. Call me crazy, but I don’t think putting the wrong food in the bag is exactly a practice that is heavily endorsed by upper management. I should have known to check the bag when the girl at the counter didn’t even look up at me and said grab the bag off the counter.
So now I am paying for peiwei twice because I already went to the one closer to my house. Is this seriously how you conduct business?
Food was terrible, very disappointing. Will not be going back. Expensive and seemed recooked. No thanks

All good except someone needs to know to take the skin off of the onions. My dish was full of onion skins.

I had lettuce wraps today with iced tea. Also tried the fall pumpkin spiced donuts . They are a cake donut. The frosting was sweet and satisfied my sweet craving.

This is one of the worst PEI Wei locations in the valley! The sauces ar either too runny, there is hair in the food, the lettuce cups are rotten or have bugs and there is an overall lack of flavor. If this location really wants to be better they need to send their cooks to go shadow the location at 7th Street and Glendale, where they Consistently have the best Pei Wei in the valley. Pei Wei is a chain store. There shouldn’t be surprises. It should be consistently good or bad or mediocre. I have had good dishes at this location, but unfortunately, the bad ones are what remain foremost in my mind. There is no continuity. There is no consistency. Save your money. You’re better off going next-door to the tavern where the food is consistently the same. I’ve talked to the manager at this location, and although he might be willing to comp a meal or something, he doesn’t really seem to understand that there is a major problem here the cooks are not consistent. The cooks do not do a good job and I am unsure whether it’s a issue or a competence issue, but in the face of having a competence issue that is not amenable to rehabilitation maybe they should , find a new chef! AVOID! I found a hair in my last meal and somehow the company was able to get my photos and review removed. The hair was in the overly runny sauce that did not properly coat the meat. Seriously, the chef doesn’t even know how to make that delicious king pao sauce stick to the meat. I did not want meat soup with hair in it.

Came in and had to wait almost 10 minutes to order my food, when I am allowed 30 minutes for lunch. The server did not make me feel welcome, and I left early to sit in my truck for the remainder of my lunch rather than sit in the A/C. I hope that this is not a frequent occurance to other patrons, but I will not be back at this location.
