Good breakfast this morning with my son. I ordered the Cowboy breakfast and my son had the waffles. The food was excellent, although I only got one slice of sour dough toast, which seemed odd in comparison to other eateries. Service was excellent, and the food tasted good. It's a nice place to meet someone for breakfast, but as someone who has been eating at Butter's for years now, I have issues. The service was exemplary, the room was calm, but the food wasn't terribly noticable. The pancakes tasted like Sysco Pancake Mix No. 5, and they gave you those little half and half jugs instead of cream for your coffee, which I guess is par for the course these days, but I don't like it.
