After retiring from the Scottsdale Fire Department following 45 years of service, I was looking for a venue to host an after-party celebration for family, friends, and colleagues. After contacting several locations, Phoenix Beer Company in Scottsdale was the only one that truly showed interest in helping make the event special.
Madison was outstanding throughout the planning process. She presented several options and helped us settle on pre-ordered appetizers and a hosted beer and wine tab that fit our needs perfectly. She also arranged a private section of the patio for our group of 60–70 guests, provided tables for my retirement memorabilia, and even allowed us to show a photo montage on the outdoor TV.
On the day of the event, Lexi and her assistant were phenomenal. Drinks and appetizers were handled flawlessly, service was attentive, and Lexi kept me informed as we approached our spending limit. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
The feedback from our guests was overwhelmingly positive. Everyone loved the venue, atmosphere, food, and service. Several guests have already returned, and so have I.
Thank you to Madison, Lexi, and the entire Phoenix Beer Company team for helping make my retirement celebration a truly memorable event. Highly recommended!

Great place that is nice to relax and enjoy some good food and good beer. They brew their own beer and it was all very good. Also the staff is great with being attentive but not pushy. Highly recommended.

Something changed here last time I was in I was served a rubbery chicken slider on a paper plate because they no longer had the fish taco, or maybe they just didn’t have it that day. I’ve been going for a year and it seems like the food quality is worse each time I go in.

Attended an event here last night, we had a great patio spot with a beautiful view and trees. The staff were Amazing and accommodating to the specific needs of the guest (allergies and gluten choices)The food variety was great and kept hot. My family and I will definitely be back.

I’m not sure if management has changed recently or what happened, but Phx Beer co has really gone downhill. We went there about a month ago, and were told we’d have to wait 10 minutes to put in food for the kitchen. We said that’s fine, we can wait. 20 minutes went by, nobody had come by and even asked if we want something to drink until then. We ordered our drinks, which took an additional 10 minutes, and we were told it will be 10 more minutes before we can order. We figured that was a fluke.
On Friday this week, we called to see if they would be doing pizza orders for the Super Bowl. They confirmed and gave us an expected time of 45 minutes so that we knew when to call in on Sunday. They said nothing about limited pizza options (if they had, we would have made a different choice of food). We just called to place an order for pizza, and they enlightened us that they are only offering a Hawaiian - esque pizza with pineapple, a veggie pizza, and a salami/mushroom/hot pepper jar one. If they were going to do a limited menu, they could at least let customers know that in advance, or alternatively, pick more common flavors. The are severely lacking in communication.
Awful dinner experience. Menu seems limited compared to prior visits. Service was terrible. Waited over an hour for food. Then when it did eventually show up 1 plate at a time, my food was cold by the time all 5 dinners were delivered. Tables near us with kids were loud and restless as they had been waiting as well. Not going back. Theyve lost a customer.

Have been a few times for apps/beers and enjoyed it. Came last night for dinner and the staff was a bit overwhelmed for a randomly busy Monday night but they handled it well. They were regularly communicating with incoming guests about the wait and understaffing - being as transparent as possible with their capabilities.
We were sitting at the bar and could see everyone hustling; kitchen, expo, servers, & the bartender. They did have to remake my burger, as it wasn’t cooked enough for my preference, but it was delicious and worth the wait. I hated to give them something else to do when it was so busy. Sorry yall but thank you again :)
One randomly busy, understaffed night can usually yield many poor reviews for annoyed customers who don’t understand or aren’t empathetic to the restaurant & staff. Wanted to offset any of that with this as ultimately, the staff handled the night, the food was great per usual, and we’ll be back again!
